Had my parents in town for a few weeks and were looking for a nice restaurant to hang out. We chose Washington Place Bistro just by chance and a few good reviews by TripAdvisor and other such apps. Wound having a beautiful table in the Northwest corner of the restaurant, just enough sunlight to enjoy, and just enough out of...

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary. Even though we live locally, we had dinner and spent the night; this really felt like a getaway. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The Little Italy neighborhood is quiet and really charming. We had a great dinner in the Bistro and breakfast was waiting for us in the morning (or...

Wife and I in Cleve for meetings, not staying far from this place, and tried it. Love the atmosphere, there are several different rooms, we enjoyed the enclosed patio, little more quiet. Our waiter was well versed in the menu, ended up with the hanger steak, was excellent and cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back if ever have a...

Booked the "Cinque Terre" room for a mini-getaway following a play at Cleveland's Playhouse Square. This was our second trip to the Washington Place Bistro and Inn, and our stay was once again favorable. The room is somewhat small with the bed right on the other side of the door leading to the hallway/stairwell, but other guests were mostly respectful...

We read on line that Washington Inn in Little Italy,Cleveland, was one of the 10 most romantic restaurants in and around Cleveland. It was a special birthday celebration and on this information we booked dinner. It is an old house with several smallish rooms. We were taken to a room about 15' square in a brightly lit faded pinky beige...

The restaurant is in the Little Italy section of University Circle in an old home that apparently belonged to an early physician at University Hospitals. The food was excellent and reasonable priced. The service was very good and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. I was visiting with several of my class mates from our 50th college reunion. We...

Scary when I noticed a stain under the sheet. Pulled the sheet back to see what was going on under there. It was a blood stain the size of a quarter. No mattress pad. I called down to the desk to ask for a mattress pad. They didn't have any. I was told they don't use mattress pads there, so...

We were staying for two nights at the Inn as my husband had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. What a wonderful find! The building itself, situated in Little Italy, was originally built as a private house and we had the Florence room on the second floor. We decided to eat dinner here on the first night, which was a revelation,...

This is the place to stay if you have business at Case or University Circle. We have been visiting the area for years and wish we had discovered earlier. Off street, free parking and walkable to Case (10 minutes) makes it the place to be. Plus, it is in Little Italy making the vast selection of restaurants, bakeries, etc. in...
