Hotel has a great location right on Euclid, however, that also makes it a noisy hotel. You can definitely hear street noise and people from your rooms, so request to be on a higher floor. Hallways are also very noisy inside the room. Rooms are very large, and all staff I came across was very friendly. For the money it's a good value.

Our family of 4 went to the theatre and wanted a good clean comfortable place to stay to avoid a late night drive back to Columbus. We wanted something that was close to both a restaurant and the show. This Hotel was perfect! We arrived and parked in a covered parking garage right next to the hotel. It was an overnight parking space and the cost was $20 for the night. Then we checked in. Within 10 minutes of walking into the front entrance we were in the room. We had a very friendly hotel staff worker check us in. The room was very spacious and had a large big screen TV. We had two double beds and and a very clean room. The bathroom was very clean as well with not a speck of mold anywhere. Even though this building is pretty old, it had a nice ambiance to it. This stay included a free breakfast but we did not partake because we had to leave early before it opened. Our room was on the 5th floor and overlooked the street below. Even though the room overlooked the street it was surprisingly quiet. Before our show we walked to a local brewery and had dinner and a couple of frosty beverages. The show was awesome and the walk back was 10 minutes. Our beds were very comfortable and clean. This was a very successful trip. I would definitely return back if given the opportunity. The room was $186 but well worth it. Enjoy everyone.

We had a large group of guests stay overnight for just one night in May, and had a wonderful experience! Booking with the group sales manager was simple! She was always easy to work with and responsive to our group's needs and requests. We arrived in a motor coach bus, with complimentary, reserved parking organized by hotel staff. Luggage service was appreciated upon our arrival and departure. Checking in our group was easy too, as it was apparent that sales staff had communicated our arrival plans clearly with front desk staff, This is very much appreciated. The hotel is an old bank building, and our guests loved the hardwood flooring, high ceilings and large rooms. Breakfast was good and all hotel staff were polite and attentive. Service to our group was definitely above and beyond - Thank you for your hard work and hospitality!

This one is surely not for a claustrophobic person! As you’d have read in a bunch of reviews, this hotel building is 100+ year old building which used to be a bank. The age is evident in the building with almost everything you touch and see is primitive. The upkeep of the building is ok, especially the toilets appeared remodeled; however there is no carpet in rooms and hardwood floors and a noisy AC unit will be your companion. Since it used to be a bank building, the corridors are pretty tight and dimly lit. I was very disappointed with the bed comfort, did not get a sound sleep; this is one reason I choose HIE over other hotels. I’d definitely give extra points for how spacious the room was; but it ain’t good enough if you can’t get a good night sleep. Breakfast was the usual HIE style, no special items. Choose this hotel for the location, at the center of the center! I’d stay here again if staying right in the downtown was my priority.

We had a large clean, comfortable room with beautiful hard wood floors. The Hotel is located near a variety of restaurants and is an easy walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
