Upon our arrival, Edward Parker warmly welcomed us and gave us a tour of not only the B&B house, but also of his art gallery next door. The tour was rich with diverse artistic pieces, interesting stories, with a smattering of famous people. Mr. Parker's hospitality did not end with the tour. We had a lovely trip to the Guesthouse. Mr. Parker is a treasure, full of great stories of the art and African-american communities in Cleveland, but ready to step back if he senses you want more privacy. If you want a fancy B&B with antiques and quaintness galore, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you are a traveler that values experiences and interesting people, then this is a fine choice. The rooms are perfectly clean (we looked at all 3). The room was disgustingly filthy. It had a make shift en'suite which was well below parr.
