Booked a two night stay, but had to leave the same day due to changing rooms. The first room key card did not work and could not be fixed. Received another room which was unsatisfactory due to having only one bed. Received another room that the heat was having trouble staying on. Maintenance did come and fix it, then discovered the refrigerator did not work (after shopping for groceries)! This was a total waste of time and a nightmare!
Average hotel, on the newer side, close to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum. We got a 2 queen suite, nicely spacious. Breakfast cost extra so we opted out. There is also a restaurant connected to the hotel but we didn’t try it. Hotel mainly caters towards businesses with many conference and meeting rooms.
Don't plan an event at this hotel. I had my step daughters wedding rehearsal dinner at the hotel in October of this year. Initially said it would be around $900.00. Ended up being $1,400.00 when they said that they would have to raise the cost about a week before the event because it was hard to get food. Additionally, the coordinator said that she would make sure that the room had music, which was important to my step daughter. You guessed NO MUSIC! Refused to comp a night for my step daughter after all of the above. Moreover, nobody ever contacted me for follow up to see if we were pleased with the dinner. I will say that the food was very good though. My wife and I, along with several family members stayed for four nights for the wedding and the toilet was constantly running and their maintenance staff (that appeared a little shady) never could fix it, and the rooms were looking dirty. Never again here!!…
BEYOND terrible. the ONLY reason I stayed both nights is due to being a vendor for an event - Rather than a guest, it felt more like I was a PRISONER. Night 1 - at 10pm, realized both the heater and AC were not working, and needed a pair of needle-nose pliers to fix. - Did not want maintenance in my room to fix what should NEVER have been a problem - unapologetic, and offered a burlap-like blanket when requesting another blanket - as if i were bothering then. DAY 2 - planned an entire day around a reservation for the swimming pool at 5pm - only to be informed at 4:55pm that day, someone vomited the NIGHT before - and it needed to be emptied. NEVER bothering to inform us early in the morning - a complete day ruined - they're only suggestion was not to offer any genuine apology,or to correct the error, but make it go away by threatening to call other hotels after commenting this was by far, the worse experience I ever had - for $150/night. LOUD MUSIC/PARTY going on nearby until after 1AM - again, when expressing irritation, they made it out to be that I was the problem. Overall, a miserable experience, and the demeanor of the staff reflected the overall sorry state of the hotel. - Ignored when entering the restaurant for breakfast. When expressing my frustration to the front end desk manager, she made me out to be the problem, and instead of addressing the problems, she told me to go find another hotel. ....not to mention the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work, which caused the towel rack to be rusted and falling off the walls. Better off spending less than half staying at the Red Roof Inn across the street . Many other issues, but their hostility to resolve the above-mentioned is enough to get the point across. IF YOU HAVE ANY STANDARDS - AVOID THIS HELLHOLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.…
0 out 5 I called their toll free number to cancel my stay on Labor Day weekend in Canton, Ohio that was within their written cancellation policy. The person told me it was canceled yet I was still hit with cancellation fees. I’ve spoken to several people at the company and even the GM at the hotel in Canton to no avail. My next step is to call my credit card company.
This hotel has a horrible way of notifying standing reservations that the hotel will be closed, and their manager, Melissa, needs to take a customer service training course. My husband tried to check-in for his standing reservation on 8/6 only to find out the hotel was closed to anyone that was not affiliated with the Hall of Fame Game. I simply called to find out what was going on, and how this could be avoided in the future. Melissa was very stand-offish, and rather than apologizing for the miscommunication she decided to state that without a doubt EVERYONE was informed. When I asked how this was done, she said it was verbally to the customer, and once again said EVERYONE was informed. WOW Melissa...what a foolproof system. Verbally advising guests and keeping no record, or sending no email is definitely a great way of handling things, and making sure no one is stranded in a city where there is no hotel to be had within an hour. All I was looking for was an "I'm sorry", and find out the best way to make sure this doesn't happen to him again. Even to the very end of the conservation when I pointed all this out to her, that I really just wanted sympathy, she still couldn't cough up an "I'm sorry". How is she a manager of anything? If you like good customer service, I'd advise choosing another hotel.…
This place is old and dirty to top it off they put my family in the part of the hotel that had just flooded and was damp and smelled like black mold.....the manger here is perfect for the type of hotel a perfect fit rude unhelpful and out right mean...the other staff was friendly and helpful...it's to bad this type of person is in the wrong position....many other hotels to choose from in the area...we will be going there on our next visit
We needed to get away for a night, and this Holiday Inn was a perfect choice! The hotel is CLEAN, and we really had no worries about our safety (health and otherwise). We enjoyed the pool, and really enjoyed the Taphouse right at the hotel. You have got to try a burger; wow! We'll be back for sure, and hopefully won't oversleep so we can try the restaurant for breakfast. See you next time!
We stayed one night last week. The entire lobby was taped off, the pool was closed and the fitness center was closed. This was very offputting. The rooms were okay, only. Staff was okay, only. Breakfast was served from a table blocking entire breakfast area. Had to tell server what you wanted and she put in a bag. There was no place to sit to eat. Server was quite nice. Not a place I will ever return to.
We checked in Friday evening, paid $150 for a single night when it’s posted for $109+tax.. our room was SO outdated. Ceiling was falling apart, our door was broken to the point we struggled with opening & closing.. mesh under the bed is tore apart, wallpaper in bathroom is falling apart, the back of the door was falling off. For the most part our room was clean and so was the rest of the hotel. No TV guide, Itty bitty TV. We were told up to 10 people in the pool, we made a reservation to get in the pool because COVID restrictions and there was 12 people in the pool + they weren’t even staying in the hotel they were guests of others staying in the hotel. When we decided to stay a second night due to the time of the funeral we were charged $125. Still no answer into why our price was so high the first night. And the worst part of all is breakfast isn’t complimentary. Pretty high room price to not even receive breakfast. The one thing I can happily say is the front desk ladies were extremely friendly. …
