They took a reservation and even called back to obtain credit card, when arrived Inn was locked and they had gone out of town. They did not answer their cell, and called us next day with half-hearted apology that needed to go out of town and did not have our phone number with them. Ruined our vacation and had to... More

We stayed in the Colonel Taylor Inn for one night on a trip between NJ and Indianapolis. Both the exterior and interior are quite nice and our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The B&B is a side business for the owner, and we were greeted by her sister who checked us in and gave us a tour of... More

The room is nice. Unfortunately it was not made up today. Breakfast was a joke. Had better at Hampton Inn. Absentee owner not very helpful about things to do in the area. Dog and cats are kept in some rooms.

This is a very special place. We were in awe of the mansion as soon as we pulled in and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Carol is a wonderful hostess and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The reservation process and check-in was smooth, our room... More

We had the great fortune of spending the night at the Colonel Taylor Inn in Cambridge Ohio. We wanted to find a place to stay for our girls weekend with charm and history. The Colonel Taylor fit the bill. It is a beautiful old Victorian immaculately kept with each room comfortable and inviting keeping with the heritage of the home.... More

We spent the night on 9 November there. I'd heard plenty, both good and not so good, but I'm glad we decided to go. The place could use a slight facelift on the outside. It's not bad, but it's not pristine either. The inside was everything you'd expect; beautifully furnished, large comfortable rooms and a very friendly hostess. The owner... More

My wife and I love to stay at B&B's and have been to may different ones in the US and abroad. This one was at the top of our list. We were on a family trip to Cambridge where I grew up. The choice of franchise hotels was not appealing. The Colonel Taylor Inn was perfect. We rented a room... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while he played in a basketball Tournament. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in The Rose Room. Very spacious, nice bed - next time I would probably bring my own pillows which is just a personal preference. The bathroom is very large - fireplace in bedroom and bathroom which is... More

My husband and I stayed at the Colonel Taylor Inn for a getaway weekend in March 2013. We chose this property based upon prior reviews and because my husband loves history. This property appeared to be a perfect fit. We stayed in the lilac room. At the time we made the reservation we were not aware the property had been... More

An absolutely stunning Victorian home with exquisite furnishings. My husband and I stayed in the beautiful Lilac room which was quite large, very clean and furnished with wonderful antiques. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of high quality. Although we did not make use of the gas fireplace, it could make for a very romantic and cozy... More
