Enjoyed a beautiful visit with innkeeper Robyn in her old, old house during The Great Geauga County Fair. The upstairs room with two double beds was clean and lovely and the family and I slept well there. Of course, this being a B and B, there is breakfast in addition to bed. And Robyn's lavish breakfasts are out of this world! She exceeds expectations in the quality and variety of the foods she serves, with most, if not all, being local and/or produced by the nearby Amish. I also delighted in her two outside cats; the one named "Visitor" should be "Resident"-- he's a permanent fixture now and was great company in the garden when I took a break from the bustle of the fair. Robyn even chauffeured me to and from my church service on Sunday. In this and other things, she truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Thank you, Robyn, and thanks for booking our reservations for NEXT year...see you then!

Beautiful old house with two guest rooms filled with antiques and other treasures to enchant your stay in Burton. Sleeping rooms were exceptionally clean with sumptuous beds, electric fireplace, tv, Internet. En suite bathrooms included jacuzzi tub, shower. Hearty breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients. Off-street parking, outdoor seating, within walking distance of historic district.

The Goodwin B & B was an excellent choice during a day trip to Amish country. We arrived in the afternoon, and were welcomed by the kind welcoming owner, Robyn who readily welcomed us into the home. She provided an excellent tour of the house and our room, which was very impressively decorated. The room was more that my fiance and I could expect. The room was decorated with beautiful antique furniture, a large queen bed with cloud like pillows adorning the duvet. Fully equipped with a TV, wifi, an electric fireplace and rocking chairs to make for a relaxing atmosphere. The jacuzzi was a nice surprise. Awaiting us in the room was a bottle of wine and chocolates that I had requested earlier. The house was very safe and we felt secure the whole time. The morning, Robyn had made a large breakfast of locally butchered Amish bacon, french toast, eggs with locally made herbed cheese, fruit salad, fruit smoothies and coffee. During breakfast, Robyn answered all of our questions about the area, and the Amish, which she was very educated about. She had given us several recommendations for local shops so make sure to take her advice. This was an excellent trip and would definitely recommend to others. Robyn was a pleasure and she was very accomadating.
