A nice place to stay if you are in the Watford North Dakota area traveling. The staff was helpful and courteous. Plenty of options for breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Very interesting decor - lots of framed newspaper clippings, documents and information about Teddy Roosevelt. Excellent hot breakfast - waffles, eggs, potato, pastries, sausage and bacon plus a daily special. Complimentary brownies in the lobby. Large indoor pool. All for a very reasonable price.

We had a confirmation number and called twice ahead since it was Labor Day weekend. Upon arrival : no room. They were full . Even w reservation number which for some reason they emailed the next day. We are from ohio. They offered no help or support since the entire town was booked. So if you want a bed st night, do not count on this hotel, the booking agent or their rude uncaring staff. By the way traveled through the area to the nicest and most helpful hotels. I dont know who they have staffing here.

This is a quiet clean hotel. Airconditioning/heating unit very quiet, conveniently located in Watford city. Typical free breakfast which is nothing special, in fact there was no tea available nor was there decaf coffee available in the breakfast room.

Giving 4 stars bc they’re doing some things right and options in this area are limited. Staff were kind; breakfast that’s included was good. Quirky decor and vibe. Quirky is not what I like in a hotel but others may enjoy it. It’s an old motel partially and then a newer section they’ve added later. The old section room I initially had seemed clean enough but definitely felt old and outdated to me. Some love the older motel nostalgic feel but it’s not for me. I was moved to the new side which was more of a standard hotel feel. I still didn’t love that all the rooms had window units, there’s no central heat/AC. Otherwise it was a fine stay! Also note that parts of the older section appear to be only accessible by steps.

This hotel is located in a great spot if you want to visit and hike in the North Unit of Roosevelt National Park. Less than a 30 minute South drive to the park. Also very close to Fort Union National Historic Park and Fort Buford State Historic site. We visited both and would recommend them. We also visited the fabulous Lewis and Clark Trail Museum a few miles north of Watford City in Alexander. We would have rated the Hotel four stars but for a couple of factors. The website gives you no clue as to what rooms will be like. We booked a suite with a kitchen, living room and bedroom (Room 484). I thought from descriptions of ‘penthouse suites’ we would have a balcony. We did not. Also the bed was billed as a Queen but if so the smallest Queen bed ever. Our suite had a connecting door to the next room (482) which was not a suite…we could hear the occupants and their kids . Suite 490 to the other of us sounded like a wrestling match was going on one night. Suite smelled of Fried chicken for the first two days until smell dissipated. No dining table. Bar/Counter with two stools. There is room for a small dining room table. Breakfast included… except when it is not. We Stayed four nights. Breakfast is from 6-9:30am. Arrived at 7 am one day and no food (eggs, bacon etc) just cold cereal and pastry Typical hotel with slamming doors. Not a whole lot of choices in Watford City so I would stay here again…just with lowered expectations

The outside doesn’t look like much but the inside makes up for it. This is a delightful place to stay. Helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful decor inside. Pool and laundry. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Cookies and brownies at night. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Great value for the price.

Property has everything you expect in a business class, convention center hotel. All the comforts and in room amenities as well as pool, sauna, hot tub and fitness center. Great breakfast in a large, designated space . . and good coffee - which is sometimes hard to get in hotel breakfast rooms. My complaint is the generic parking in a large lot and a 1/2 block hike from there to our room on the other end of the building. Otherwise, a super place, super staff with reasonable rate.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was super nice! I had an amazing nights sleep- the beds were super comfy! Some random guy did knock on our door around 9pm which made us a little nervous, but the front desk was very helpful and went to check it out for us.

We were so pleased with our decision to stay at Roosevelt Inn and Suites! Very down-to-earth, "cozy/homey" vibe. It was nice to have the simple breakfast prepared each morning. The suite we were in had a beautiful table, a nice balcony, comfortable beds, and a full kitchen. Our entire family was pleased! The staff were helpful and friendly. The facility was clean. We particularly enjoyed the "local" flare with all the Teddy Roosevelt (and Maah Daah Hey Trail) photos and memorabilia. I'd recommend anyone traveling to stay here and focus more time on the North Unit of Teddy Roosevelt national Park--unless you're going to Medora for the musical...because there are some good restaurants in town and this hotel is a great spot! Seemed to be better than the offerings in Medora.
