Yes I was invited to the Grand Tasman yesterday [Sunday] for lunch.. Its a roast dinner and I may add the roast was the worst I have had.. As a chef myself and have done that many functions and Buffets I start with this.. Not only was a cold plate awaiting you on the table but a dirty one at...

We ate here for dinner and lunch and on both occasions were very impressed with the quality and size of servings. The food was fresh and well presented. The included salad bar had a good range of your basic salads. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Prices were slightly above average in comparison to similar hotels but worth it...

We had lunch here at the Bistro and I couldn't speak highly enough of it. Every member of staff was pleasant, friendly and genuinely interested in their job. Although busy, it didn't faze the staff. We had oysters natural and King George whiting and the food was superb. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Would highly recommend...

This is a very visitor friendly hotel. Multiple screens to watch a great variety of sports. If it is important to you, there is a big TAB area. There is also a large bistro and out door dining. On the foreshore means great views.

The food servings are generous and tasty. Prices are very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The view out of the dinning room window is great. The big comfy chairs near the windows are a treat. Very relaxing.

Three big tv's and other smaller ones all over the place means that this is a good spot for watching any sport. The beer was cold but the wine list was limited. Still, I managed to have a cheeky couple of drinks! The staff were friendly enough. Didn't eat here but the menu looked pretty good.

Called in for a meal. A little confusing ordering and not well explained. Meal was okay but salad bar in poor state although I was late. No bread or rolls. Apparently meal price includes Ice cream dessert. Overall ok but not really warming.

If your not a pub lover, don't stay in one! There are plenty of "houses" to rent in the area, u just won't be in the middle of the esplanade paying a $100 a night with breaky included, clean towels each day, shampoo n soap provided each day, washing machine n dryer available with soap powder supplied, plenty of tea...
