This a regional Australian specialty - the high specked hotel that hosts international trade delegations as well as local mother groups coffee catch ups. You'll see and meet all types of people - that is if you can tear your eyes off the spectacular view from the lobby and restaurant area. The Port Lincoln Hotel offers everything you would expect... Drove here from Adelaide (nice 7 hr drive) to go Shark Cage Diving with Calypso Star Charters (see my separate review of them - great!). The parking lot is spacious and parking is free. Check in staff (Wendy) were warm and inviting. Knowing that we were here for the shark diving, she gave us all the information we needed on... More

As most of our accommodation on our trip was fairly basic, this hotel was top-notch, with large, clean rooms & wonderful views. The hotel is close to the centre of Port Lincoln - a comfortable walk - with everything needed close by. The food was delicious & drinks ay a respectable price. Lots to see & do in Port Lincoln,... Location is close to city centre. We stay 3 nights at sea view room. The view is beautiful. Interior is clean and bright. Very large space. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Only one thing would like to suggest: please to consider the installation of hand rail in the shower space since I nearly slip over during wash foot with body... More

Dear Sarah H, Hello and thankyou for providing such a spritely recount of your experience with us on TripAdvisor! I may be bias but Port Lincoln is a lovely place - it sucks you in doesn't it? A "fresh", "happy" and "confident" town are certainly perfectly adjectives to describe the feeling of this place. I would like to think these... More

The staff and food was excellent. The ocean view from the balcony is great. The TV service is not good, you are unable to plug in your appliances such as a Playstation or DVD player and they don't even have a movie channel - mainly all sports channels. The Gym area also is in need of a renovation or upgrade,... More

Ultimate destination. Sit outside, inside, in a comfy couch, in a beautiful restaurant, or in the front bar. Really something for everyone. I keep going back for the Tuna Rosettes! A winner in my eyes. Must try the fabulous cocktails. Always exciting and fun.

Stayed at the Port Lincoln Hotel again (11th visit?) on a 2 day business trip in August. This 6 floor hotel has great facilities, and my room (223, no upgrade? lol) was clean, spacious and well appointed. The large bathroom (shower only) is a welcome feature. Lighting is good, with a number of options, and the wardrobe space is generous.... More
