Last minute we booked in, two adults and a child. Greeted with friendly telephone contact, they were happy to accommodate and wait is for us to arrive. Beautiful clean room, sheets and fluffy towels! We stayed both nights and even though we said the room didn't need to be serviced she did anyway- lovely :) recommend.

It's an old motel, the carpet took me back! But clean and with very friendly owners. They also run the adjacent cafe and are passionate about what they do, ask them about their breakfast. It's a quiet town anyways, so no problem with noise. WiFi is patchy.

We came as a group of 24 Probus members and we were extremely well looked after. Rooms were top class and breakfast was an added delight. The owners went well out of their way to meet our needs. Having stayed at Meningie several times in the past, this is definitely the best Motel and we be staying there in the... More

Just an overnight stay enroute to Adelaide to satisfy my curiosity for eating Coorong Mullet. This motel is a very clean and well kept facility with very friendly and welcoming hosts Bronwyn & Peter. My room ( 6 ) looked recently redecorated and back from the road by 50 metres was very quiet and comfortable. The Large double bed offered... More

This motel was in a great location and good value for money. A little tired but clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. The café served good food and coffee and was very convenient for breakfast.

We were travelling from Mt Gambier way and decided to stay here instead of Robe, due to the fact Robe is more commercialised these days and we wanted somewhere 'different' and more quiet. The lady owner was so nice to us considering we stuffed her around a little bit. We originally had the spa room but asked if we could... More

Management response:

Hi Natsarella, You should have asked about table and chairs I would have taken some out the front for you, it wouldn't have been a problem. We don't leave them out the front because when the wind pick up they blow away. Safe travels Bron More

Although we thought this didn't look too promising from the outside, we had a wonderfully spacious room for one night recently. It had a comfortable bed, spa bath, separate toilet, mini kitchen, excellent wifi, separate lounge area, and the manager (Bronwyn) was a delight to talk to. It was all very well maintained, and had been newly renovated. Everything was... More

We stayed overnight in a queen bed room which was comfortable, very clean (and smelt nice, not musty like some rooms can) and had amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom, LCD TV, air-conditioning plus an iron & ironing board. The owners are friendly, check in and check out was quick and... More

New owners have brought a new lease of life to the old place, While still a work in progress the rooms are very clean and well appointed. Rates were appropriate for the rooms compared with other motels stayed at during our trip. Owners and staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome, allowed us to park our motorbikes under... We decide to spend two nights of our 5 day tour through the Limestone Coast in Meningie to have a chance to explore the Lower Lakes area. We had a street-front suite with spa and king bed in this very central motel. The suite has a sitting area and a sleeping area separated by a unit including fridge and microwave.... More
