Enjoyed an overnight visit at chapmanton. Lovely little unit, with kitchenette, two bedrooms. Kitchen well :-) :-equipped, very well presented. A pleasant place to stay in Hawker and a great stop before exploring this wonderful part of Australia- the flinders ranges. Gladly recommend :-)

This is a slightly faded 80's/90's motel. The rooms are big and have been done up a bit and quite comfy, mostly with a double and single, but that's about it. Dinner was ordinary. Breakfast ok. The staff were not particularly helpful. There are better places in the area.

We had a couple of nights in the holiday villas which are two bed but we were just a couple. Comfortable, well equipped a little old fashioned nut this is the outback and we were quite happy although at $150 per night they are probably $20 overpriced based on experience elsewhere but the outback is expensive. Price is the same...

Everything you would expect from a traditional Australian motel, all clean and in good working order if a "little tired". The owners are friendly and anxious to please, EG There is no WIFI in the rooms but they offered me access in the reception area. If you want breakfast remember to let them know the night before. The in room...

Don't waste your time just go stop at the pub, as if you want to eat and drink you will need to walk there. Very quite small town after 5.30pm thought I was the only person there! $120 for a single room way to much would have gone to the caravan site but after a long day riding the Birdsville...

My wife and I stayed two nights in November 2014. A good bed, clean bathroom, good studio lounge but no plates, cutlery for breakfast. However the staff did give us some! Had a cold beer in the bar - good selection of beers in bottles. We would stay again.

Stayed two nights in the motel where the room was large (1 queen and 2 single) and very clean. The bed was comfy and area very quiet (away from the highway - not that there's much traffic at night anyway). We used this as a base to explore the Southern Flinders Ranges and enjoyed getting back to our room to...

Stayed for two nights for the Wilpena Under The Stars event. The room we had was very nice, no complaints at all. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was of a good size. The hosts were great and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

One word unless you are desperate for a bed - DON'T ! These units are very poor for the price charged ($165 on for three people) I don't think they have been upgraded since they were built (1985) so this was very disappointing as we had a visitor from overseas. The whole of Hawker looked tired and run down including...
