Hotel was more expensive than the place next door. Hot tub was very tiny without jets. Towels in the room were see-through. Room service is actually you-come-pick-it-up. Mattress was so old we sank to the middle. So, if you need to entertain kids with a pool, it's fine. Otherwise, I'd go next door to the new place.

We stay at the Northern Lights Inn whenever we travel in ND. All staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are excellent! A much appreciated bonus is the adjoining restaurant provides a delicious hot breakfast as part of the room rate. We have found the room rates were cheaper than internet rates when we call NLI directly with our...

This is an older hotel but it is clean and comfortable. The towels are smaller but adequate. The front desk staff is VERY friendly! It was ND hospitality at check in. We were there for a family event and the few extra dollars for a suite was well worth it so we could visit. Bar service was good with a...

We have stayed here many times. Jackie at the front desk is wonderful. Always helpful with anything that we need. We did have 1 problem with our stay but Jackie and Sandy (manager) took care of everything. We like this hotel because they are pet friendly and we are able to bring our dachshunds with.

Just stayed 3 nights with my wife and 2 children, ages 7 and 5. We had a pool side room with easy access to a large field where I was able to walk my Springer Spaniel. It was a tad humid with the pool being that close, somewhat dated but very comfortable hotel and well located to the job interviewing/exploring...

It is hard for older hotels to keep up with some of the new competition they face. They have worked hard to keep the place neat and clean. Room was fine, bed was comfortable. Things have been updated but you just know it is an older facility, but not old enough that we can think historical. Had a conference here....

I think my family has found a new meeting-place (half-way between our homes which are across the state). I was a bit skeptical when we pulled up and had doors that opened to the outside, but the rooms were clean, with brand-new carpet and furnishings and comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast at the adjoining Dakota Farms restaurant and...

We had 3 adults in one room for $84. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The price included a limited choice, but filling breakfast. It is an Econolodge but there are no signs with that name on the building. A lot of oil workers stay here and were in a large group in the parking lot partying...

Way over priced for what what you get! Even tho there is an Oil boom, they are doing Hwy robbery. They dont tell you that the hotel was built in the 50's, 60's and that they have to mask the smell of the halls by airfreshiners. Internet says pool and hot tub but they dont tell you when you book...

My business associates and I while traveling decided to try out this Restaurant, called Dakota Farms, of which is in the same building as the Northern Lights Motel. First impression of walking into Restaurant: Table Set-ups appeared to be High Priced Restaurant. We took a table by the Windows. A CLEAN and decorative restaurant. We were greeted by our Waiter...
