We stayed for 1 night in a 1-bedroom unit which was very well outfitted. The cooking facilities were very nice and included all that we required. The lovely porch had a great view of the mountains. While we didn't have dinner in the restaurant, we did enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner. I would recommend this Station to...

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin for 5 nights and would recommend Rawnsley to anyone thinking of travelling to the Flinders. The walks and drives around the area are spectacular. Staff at the Park were both welcoming and helpful. Interesting evening at the Woolshed Restaurant on NYE, a little bumpy to start with but ended well with John O Dea...

The villa was lovely, a real WOW when you entered it. It was well thought out with quality fittings and the verandah was great. If you are planning to drive around the area and through any of the gorges you do need a 4X4. We didn't eat in the restaurant and when we stopped by for a drink after our...

Thank you for the positive review. Good to hear you enjoyed the flight and that the Pilot (Shannon) gave you interesting information on the area.

We booked a bush camp site and were caught out in a storm where our tent collapsed. The staff were great and booked us into a cabin the next day and we had a fantastic time! Make sure you go to the Woolshed restaurant and try the lamb shanks as they were the best lamb I had ever tasted! Also,...

The cabins are small but very clean & tidy. The bathroom upgrade is lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed but make sure you take plenty of your own food supplies as, during summer, the caravan park doesn't stock a lot & Hawker is about 30kms away. Wifi & phone reception is limited but we were there for the "downtime"...

Beautiful experience. The eco-villa we stayed in was just luxury - peaceful and isolated amongst beautiful scenery. Woke up to sheep and kangaroos in our backyard. The staff were all so friendly and accomodating. The rooms were serviced daily with breakfast provisions that lasted us all day. Walking and biking trails nearby. Would recommend to anyone.

Luxury in the wilderness. Such a wonderful villa design. We loved everything about this place. It's expensive but worth it. We could have easily stayed for a few more days to explore this beautiful part of the world.

The Flinders is always beautiful but the Echo Villa we stayed in was an experience in itself. Lovely private outlook, private balcony for the romantic sunset meal. Well designed and beautiful straw bale one bedroom villa with all amenities. Couldn't really see the stars well from our bed as the roof window needed a clean. The stars outside were sensational...

We chose the Eco-villas to be towards the outback but with a little luxury. The Eco-villas provided everything we had hoped for - luxury, remoteness, fabulous views and great wildlife. The villas were well equipped and breakfast provisions were provided daily. The decking on two sides was a great place to sit and enjoy the vista. When it became too...

Thank you for the wonderful comments. The early summer is a great time to visit if you are looking to see wildlife - they tend to congregate in the ranges as the surrounding country dries off.

We loved our 3 night stay in an Eco Villa. At $400/night, it needed to be faultless, and I would say it pretty much was. The villa was very comfortable, extremely spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with gorgeous views all around. 'Eco' to me usually implies some swap out of comfort for ideology, but that's not the case here. The...
