I feel blessed to have walked the ancient lands of Arkaba ; to have enjoyed the incredible diversity of flora, fauna and geology and to have experienced the style, gourmet satisfaction, luxury and thoughtfulness that goes into every moment of this incredible journey. Our wonderful, knowledgeable and gracious young guides Sam and Meghan looked after our every need with such...

Thank you for your wonderfully descriptive review - it is so lovely to receive the feedback and to see such appreciation for nature and its conservation. We are obviously very fortunate at Arkaba to have such a spectacular landscape on our doorstep but, as you say, it is the people, our field guides, who make such a difference to opening...

We were on the same walk as kristamck who very accurately described that thanks to the extremely professional team at Arkaba, what could have turned into a disaster was a perfect experience. The weather was incredibly hot for the season, but the homestead offers nice air conditioning and a fantastic swimming pool with outback panorama. Staying in the coachman's cottage...

Thank you for taking the time to write such an in depth review (and my apologies for the time it has taken me to respond). There was some unseasonably hot weather when you walked with us, which is (of course) hard to predict but I am glad that we were able to adapt to ensure that the overall experience was...

Our stay at Arkaba was not just a holiday, but a revelation - possibly because we knew near to nothing about the Flinders Ranges, but also due to the passionate and knowledgeable guidance we received from the Arkaba team. Do watch boss Brendan's video on the Arkaba website to explain the philosophy behind the sustainability model Arkaba has. I don't...

We just spent 4 days at Arkaba. 2 nights in the homestead and two nights on the walk. The day of our arrival we relaxed at the lodge, took a keep tour to the old wool shed and then late afternoon did a 6 km walk up the creek bed where we saw tons of kangaroos, some emus and all...

Thank you for your review and I am delighted you had a great time with us at Arkaba. We did have some unusually hot weather to kick the season's walking off and obviously it was a shame that you did not receive the full walking experience but you obviously had the chance to see another perspective of Arkaba from the...

My family stayed three nights here with initially little expectation of what the place will be like in the remote outback area of South Australia. However, we were not only surprised that the rooms are not only sizable but are complete with good amnesties, save a television and wifi. We were served gourmet breakfast, light lunch and sumptuous dinners everyday...

This a small , only 5 couples max, homestead! With a fantastic staff who are very knowledgeable about the history as well as the various creatures found on this 100 square mile station (Australian for ranch). The accommodations were exceptional as was the food.

As part of a 3 week family vacation to the South Pacific we spent 2 nights at Arkbaba (wife and 11 year old son). Terrific experience. Service and food were off the charts. Everyone was exceptionally helpful, engaged, friendly. Would gladly return. I had high expectations and they were fulfilled and then some.

Booked a 3 night stay here with a friend in a twin room which also included a free 6 hour flight over Lake Eyre all inclusive for $2670pp. This was an extravagant spend for me but the flight has always been on my bucket list and considering that all meals, drinks and excursions were included, seemed it might be worth...

This is a truely breathtaking example of eco-tourism. A former sheep station that's being transitioned back from the damaging European sheep farming practices to its original state where soft footed indigenous animals roam. We enjoyed two superb nights at the Station and completed the famous 3 day Arkaba Walk. The whole experience was bush luxury at its best. Brendan, Meagan,...
