Nice comfortable place to stop over for the night. Bedding was clean, bathroom was nice and the lady was very welcoming and lovely. Has TV and fridge etc. reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was comfortable and clean, was just me on my own and I felt very safe here. Lovely check in at reception, very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful outback hospitality.

Wouldn't want to stay more than one night. Room was clean and pretty spacious but very basic and air con old and very noisy without remote. $125 for this room is way overpriced even for the expensive outback. Paid $30 less for much better rooms in Charters towers or Longreach.

When in Winton we always try to get accommodation here. Walking distance to everything, quiet, central location and friendly proprietors. An older facility but well suiting the town and maintained well and tidy with a good price.

The outside appearance is disappointing yet the rooms are quite reasonable. Recently renovated to a basic standard. Probably overpriced but perfectly clean. Our booking wasn't listed, yet we were sure we had confirmed it. Found the confirmation email later.

Stayed here for five nights. Previous reviews have mentioned that the rooms have not been renovated. Absolutely correct. They are straight from decades ago - exposed batten fluorescent lights, tattered flyscreens, aged carpet, mouse poo in the bathroom vanity that looks like it's never been cleaned, clogged shower nozzle that spat out razor sharp jets of water - but the...

This motel is very basic and very old, but offers what you need in terms of bed comfort and facilities, but no wifi. The only drawback is the smell of sulphur from the water as it is from a bore. We were there during a cold snap and tried to use the aircon but it was cooling only. However there...

Stayed for one night only - thank goodness! After reading some of the other reviews I thought I might give this one a go! In hindsight I should have checked the room first. However, trustworthy me, I thought that if you have to fork out $120 for the night, it can't be that bad ... how wrong I was! On...

This motel is an old-style Queensland country motel and I think this is part of its charm. It is right in the heart of town which is great. It is quiet. Our room was clean and had a microwave and a toaster. It is everything we could want for an overnight stay and we would book this place again.

I stayed here for one night this week and it was ok. The location is good, being across the road from the Waltzing Matilda Centre and right near the North Gregory Hotel. The rooms are raised so you have to walk up three stairs to get into them. I had to stand on a chair to reach the aircon to...
