Enjoyed our glamping weekend.. Luxury way to do it. Hot tub was enjoyed each evening, but does get a little chilly when getting out and back to the tent, though its only a few steps.. Bedding comfortable, warmth inside was great, from time to time when the wind picked up you hear the tent make some flapping noises, but that...

My girlfriend and I stayed in the tent rooms mid week January 2015. All we can say is wow. Everything was just perfect! The tent was just amazing! Unique, clean, fancy and personalised. The grounds are beautifully looked after and the staff were welcoming and warm. The breakfast basket blew my mind on how thoughtful and personalised it was. And...

Beautifully appointed with everything you need for either a busy weekend enjoying the wineries or a quiet escape for a few days. Great service, real country hospitality, but privacy is ensured and a unique experience guaranteed.

Beautiful Chalet with everything we needed and more….although the weather reminded us of back home in Scotland - we still found time to 'chillax'; have a spa; play boules; walk and have some peaceful time away from the City hustle and bustle. A must for anyone wishing some privacy in an immaculate 'abode'. We certainly will be back

Have never stayed in Stanthorpe before but always wanted to see what it was like. Well it was perfect, we had the best weekend escape. The villa was modern and had the home away from home feel. A fireplace to make the room cosy for the cooler night and air conditioning to cool down the warmer night (we experienced both...

Hi Renee. Thanks for your lovely words. The weather was unseasonably warm for part of your stay. Thank goodness for air-conditioning! Between the wood fires and aircon, you can tailor the villa temperatures so they're just perfect for you. There's something special about soaking in the spa under our vast starry night skies. Looking forward to seeing you again! Ruth...

We've just had a peaceful few days escape 'glamping' at Alure. Previously we stayed in one of the villas and thought we'd try the tent. As usual, everything is thought of and spotlessly clean, allowing us to put our feet up and relax. Each time we stay, we don't want to leave!

Hi Taylor Thank you! We're glad you had the chance to put your feet up and relax. The tent and villas a lovely in their own right, yet different in the experience they offer. We do pay a lot of attention and focus on cleanliness and thinking about the little things that guests will find useful during their stay. Great...

I’m a little sad writing this review, it could have been so great !! GLAMPING !!! "GLAMOROUS CAMPING" Brings to mind Roosevelt on Safari in Africa. I really do believe that to provide a 5 star experience you need to have had a varied experience of what 5 star is and how to deliver it. Having lived a great portion...

Dear Richard We’re sorry your hopes and dreams for your stay weren’t realised. We know your lovely wife had planned the ‘perfect escape’ for your birthday and we spent a number of hours and many emails assisting with the creation of all your special birthday treats. So we’re also sad. On check-in, we asked you (as we do with all...
