FANTASTIC. Rooms are huge and the in-room hot tub was such a treat! Ocean views are magnificent.. Close to really decent coffee across the street at Criminal Coffee. Only 5 mins in an Uber to all the great vibey restaurants & bars on The Wharf at Mooloolaba. Sunshine Plaza down the street for everything and more you could ever need… Ocean Street in Maroochydore for bars, gigs and nightlife if you’re up for a fun night on the town too! Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful our entire stay. Could not fault. Will absolutely stay here again, rooms were big enough to accommodate our fam and even Nanna too! Kids just loved the pool and spa downstairs. 10/10 recommend The Sebel Maroochydore. Thanks for a great stay!
Stayed at the Sebel in Maroochydore. Staff are lovely. The apartment needs an upgrade. paint missing from shutters and skirting boards, showers taps and rose loose and leaking etc. Just need a bit of money spent on it.
It was a wonderful experience to stay at the Sebel, We celebrated y husbands birthday, with visitors from NSW and QLD, the view, apartments where great, clean, safe and comfortable. THANK YOU well done all
I can’t speak for every apartment in the Sebel, but the one we stayed in was terrible. It had a grotty feel about it as soon as we walked in. The laundry doors couldn’t close, doors in the kitchen didn’t close properly and the master bedroom blind was filthy. There was no smoke detector, just a spot on the ceiling where it had been removed, which is dangerous, as was the door to the balcony which locked on it’s own when the door was closed. Thankfully both times this happened someone was inside and was able to unlock it. That could have been a disaster if someone was locked out on the balcony in the heat. It is in serious need of an update, the 90’s called and they want their furniture back. And to top it all off, being expected to pay for wifi in an almost $500 a night room is just ridiculous as was the double bed in the master. Spring for a queen size people. It was very difficult to sleep…
the staff member Chrissy was so loud and rude when i asked her a question, she snapped at me and was joking and messing around with the other lady behind the desk, she was loud and very rude. I was very suprised how she behaved in the foyer of the Sebel not professional at all
It was great to get away for a few days and particularly having an ocean view room. The only disappointing issue was the lack of restaurants attached to the Sebel and the only restaurant was not open on any of the days we were there.
Worst management. Literally worst place I have ever stayed. DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager basically was rude to us and I can't stand terrible customer service. On top of that the room was average. You couldn't pay me to stay here with the DISRESPECT.
My wife and I picked this hotel pretty much off its website as we were going to see a concert at Maroochydore and had decided to spend the Labor Day long weekend in Maroochydore. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The reception staff were great, the room we had impeccable with great ocean views and the facilities were some of the best we have encountered in an apartment style hotel. Very close to beach with great undercover parking (free). We would certainly recommend this place for a great beach getaway.
Base on the price, we expected something a lot better. Our room, whilst clean, had definitely seen better days with rough repairs, badly stained kitchen bench, and corroded bathroom fittings. The landscaping is also a bit sad. At 6PM there was a lack of hot water. With only hot water running, the shower was barely warm. Also the room Wifi was very slow.
After being dumped by the last minute cancellation of Jetstar JQ801 at Sunshine Coast Airport at 8.30 pm last Thursday evening my wife & I were in urgent need of accomodation which was surprisingly found extremely difficult to arrange? This was where The Sebel Maroochydore came to our rescue as about the only hotel we could find on the coast open to late night/last minute bookings. We found Night Manager Trent extremely helpful & attentive upon arrival & then arranging our excellent room & Sales & Events Manager Chrissie exceptional in assuring we enjoyed our stay - to the extent we extended it. Many thanks to all - we will be back.
