The hotel Maleny is a typical country pub but it's accommodation is much better than you might expect. We stayed in a two bedroom unit which is actually half a house. It doesn't look like much from the outside, quite run down in fact, but inside has been beautifully restored. Large comfortable beds in big rooms. A good option for... More

Had a lovely weekend lunch here with a large group which was booked at the last minute. Food was great, particularly my chicken parmigiana, if a little slow coming out as it was a busy day. Would definitely eat here again next time we are in the area.

My husband and I recently dined at the hotel with friends. The decor could be improved and made to feel more warm and inviting. There really is no theme as such which is a pity given Maleny's vibe. We dined at the hotel during school holiday time but the hotel wasn't very busy during our visit. We waited over an... More

Drove past and thought to give the Hotel a go ... Great great customer service and beautiful ambience. The staff looked after us beautifully. The food was nice, just my wifes steak was a little over cooked, but still nice. Will easily be coming back again !!

My partner & I had lunch at the hotel today. The fire place in the public bar was lovely, as was the wine, but that's where the enjoyment stopped. We both ordered the pork belly. The bottom of both our meals was burnt black, the Bok Choy was barely blanched and I found it inedible, and the sweet potato was... More

Lovely old hotel good spot nice ambiance. Ordered 2 medium steaks one was good the other leached blood all through the mash it sat on. Maybe should have been rested before being sat on the mash? Called the wait staff who was brilliant. Offered review, refund or voucher. Because we don't line in Maleny we opted for the refund only... More

My wife and I visited the Hotel on a Sunday for lunch. I had the Rid Eye Filet that was on special and it was full of grisly bites and fat, maybe this was why they were on special and it was over cooked and dry. Wife had Salmon that was also dry and over cooked. Very disappointing with the... More

We stopped here on a Saturday for lunch, considering it was so busy the service was fairly prompt. The meal was an average pub meal, nothing to rave about. Sadly the amenities were not very clean and was not just due to being busy. There is plenty of parking in the township, it is a lovely town to wander around.

Our family booked the house which is situated behind the hotel. The house was booked for two nights at a total cost of $550. The house has 2 bedrooms with a 'kitchenette'. Upon arriving to the house, we immediately were put off by the smell. We attempted to clear out the smell, by opening the windows, but soon discovered the... More

I stayed in a single room at this old but new pub and it was a trip back in time. The silky oak wardrobe and cedar veneer dresser reminded me of the hotels heritage while the linen was fresh and crisp and the bed comfy. All very basic and clean and cheap and charming really. Shared bathrooms were close by... More
