Longreach Motel had all the basics. It was basic but importantly - clean, had all of the necessities and the location was central. The A/C struggled in the heat but I don't think that was a reflection on the Motel. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and for the price, would stay here again.

Very tidy and clean motel located in the Main Street. Within walking distance of pubs & RSL. Aircon works well and I used it a lot on 36 deg days I was here! Owner / manager gruff, abrupt, curt but I didn't see him after check-in. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms have all the necessary comforts - micro,... More

Stayed at this motel for a couple of nights while we visited the various attractions around Longreach. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quite adequate. Wi-Fi was good. Easy walk into town to eat at the Curry café or the Bird Cage. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the motel to be very dated and next door to the pub which made it noisy at night. There is no ventilation in the bathroom which made it unpleasant. On the plus side there was a kettle, toaster and microwave and cutlery and crockery were provided and with a supermarket 100 metres away self... More

There is a stark lack of good motel accommodation in Longreach. The latest refurbished rooms at other motels are upstairs and too expensive. After viewing rooms at 3 other motels (and looking at stained carpet, old lounges and armchairs, broken tiles in bathrooms and dark spaces, we finally arrived in the main street of Longreach at the Longreach Motel. The... More

Be prepared to pay for any booking in full as soon as you make a reservation. We booked from overseas and then realised that we were going to have to change booking. We lost 2.6% credit card fee plus the cost of two international transfers on our credit card. We feel that this Motel should be up front and advise... More

Very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, really hot showers. Very large breakfast and great location - right in the middle of town. It is not a new property, but very well maintained and good value for money

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the location in town was very handy. I would stay there again when travelling through. Longreach has a very friendly and vibrant community.
