We stayed here for one night before our flight back to Sydney. It is def very relaxing and the owners are very nice. You definitely need a car to come here. The rainforest is located next store but you do need to cross a creek to do the walk, in which you would get wet so we did not do... More

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting the Kuranda and Atherton Tablelands, You do need a car to get there and to drive around the region. Peter and Jane are great and helpful with local places to visit. Online booking was easy, they communicate with you prior to your arrival ie.they did let us know about the Friday buffet...food was... Great place to stay for relaxation. A bit off the beaten path, but that's the reason for staying here. The breakfast is "continental' in some sense, but surpasses my expectations for the term. There was a ton of food, all delicious. The room was large and comfortable, the property beautiful and an easy drive from Kuranda and other rainforest attractions.... More

Cedar Park Rainforest Resort is perfect for those who want to visit Kuranda but enjoy a peaceful time in nearby woods. The drive is about 19 km, with the final 3-4 km on an easy (at least during the dry season) dirt road. We stayed here 4 nights and drove to Kuranda for part of each day. While it is... More

We booked this online by description on bookings.com. Unfortunately the photos do more for it than the reality. It was a quaint setting, well off the road, needs refurbishment and is definitely overpriced!!! Would go so far as to say not well managed at this stage. I believe the current owner has only been there for approx. 12 months. It... More

Dear Laraine, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Cedar Park. First, you told me you had been to Cedar Park for a meal before so you were already familiar with our out of the way situation and unique accommodation. Second, you pinned your stay on eating dinner in our restaurant which is what you enjoyed last... More

Cedar Park only has 6 rooms so there is never overcrowding. It has no mobile service but internet access is there if you really must keep in touch (or they let you use their landline) so it is sooo quiet, it was heaven. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The managers (Charlie, the resident peacock has claimed ownership)... More

From the moment we were greeted by Reception to when we were shown our amazing room complete with a complimentary bottle of red, we knew this was to be an experience to treasure. Our room was huge & very comfortable, the surrounds are green & lush, the huge social, dining or relax deck is a very special area crowned by... More

We loved this place. Sited in the rainforest, it is a perfect place to sit , watch and listen to the rainforest. Tranquility! It is five kilometres from the main road, which consist of two and a half kilometres along a gravelled road. You do get the feeling that you may have missed it, but there are amusing signs along... Quiet time away from it all...Perfect location. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Rainforest is a perfect location to relax. Cedar Park is a prefect place to do nothing, and is well located to all the best bits of the Atherton Tablelands..
