Rainforest at your window, rainforest animals there as well. The friendly welcome by Mike as well as the great breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade waffles and juices. All this makes for a wonderfull stay.

Miju guest house is just perfect, nice, elegant, very comfortable and well equipped. Mike was a perfect host - we unfortunately didn't meet Julie, who was in Perth for family reason. The house is in the midst of the tropical rainforest, a bit outside of Kuranda. You could hear and see many birds at all times, watch lizards and geckos,...

The retreat is about 10 minutes drive from the kuranda village. We stayed here for three nights with our toddler. It really was a home away from home. Our host was so kind to custom make our breakfast every day as we have vegetarian dietary needs which excludes eggs from our diet. We were served egg free pancakes! Now how...

An idillic place to holiday. Central to everything. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Very spacious house and equipped with everything you could hope for. Sitting outside on the veranda having breakfast each morning and watching the wild life was very relaxing, due to the lush green surroundings. Will definately stay there again in the future.

Wow never expected to find this place, the rain forest was so close you felt like you were camping out in it! The B&B was well appointed and comfortable. The Kangaroo's came to be fed at dusk we now have so many photo's of kangaroos! If you want paradise in the rainforest this is the place to go.

Miju is more like a retreat than a B&B, although you are staying a suburb only about 6 km from Kuranda, a village type shopping center, you think you are in a tropical rainforest. The owners are very friendly, made us feel at home and then didn't bother us. The rooms are spacious as is the kitchen, bathroom/spa and lounge...

When we arrived we felt right at home. One of the owners greeted us and gave us our tour. This very spacious B & B was more like home away from home. It had a full size kitchen, living area, very large bath and two spacious bedrooms with lots of closet space. All of the above was furnished to the...

“There are two bedrooms, sharing a common bathroom, kitchen, living room and veranda. It's ideal to take the whole guest house (as we did). But the commons (bathroom, living room, kitchen, veranda) are nice, sharing them with other guests should be very easy.”
