The Royal Private is a great example of a classic piece of Aussie architecture. Beautifully maintained, the rooms are lovely with thoughtful and kitsch touches throughout.

We stayed here because of hevy rainfalls. It was a very good decision! The Royal was one of the first Hotels in Charters Towers and still has this character. It is just wonderful how the rooms are equipt with old fashioned furniture and little details....More
