The Motel is well situated & the Staff/Owners also gave some very good suggestions on where to go & how to get there! They said to visit Towers Hill Lookout, which we did, via the directions given & the views were just great! We also had a cooked breakfast (included in overnight accommodation charge) & we had dinner in the...

The people were very helpful. The rooms were clean and it was a good value. I would stay again if in town. It is pretty easy to find and there is a pub and restaurant associated with it, though we did not try it out.

A late decision to stop in Charters Towers resulted in a comfortable night rest and a great meal at the in house restaurant ... You could choose between old fashioned drive up rooms or stay upstairs in the old building The price reflected the condition of the rooms which are dated.

If you're flying in to Charters Towers in a light aircraft, the hosts will collect you from the airstrip, and return you, at no cost. The very genial Julie even threw in a brief tour of the town for good measure. The motel units are of the usual layout, clean and tidy (though a little dated). They have a chef...

I attended a business meeting at the pub. The menu had a pretty good range of pub food that was wholesome and very cheap. The spring rolls and sirloin steak were both great value and fresh. No complaints but the pub seemed to lack character.

Have stayed every time I am in town. So convenient to town. Julie and Marv are fabulous and very caring, hard working, good descent people. Julie will wash and dry your clothes for a small fee. Love coming here as you feel part of the family.

A Charters Towers institution, associated with a pub. Older style comfortable rooms across the road from a big green shady park with a huge bat colony. Restaurant is a blast from the past - excellent meals, and the cheery proprietor doubled as a waiter, adding a touch of humour. Small range of wines, all conveniently the same price...

The negatives first top shelf of the fridge was full of water, the shelf on the door was broken, the remote control volume and channel changing buttons didn't work properly. Postives, clean room we had a huge king bed, the owners/proprietors were welcoming and friendly. They were doing work to the improve the appearance of the motel. It was a...
