Extremely congenial staff. The chap on reception provided us with a map and book about Charleville and told us a little history of interest. He then took us down the park, gave us the choice of 3 different sites and waited for us to park. He then showed us the power box and stayed to make sure everything was working.

While travelling in Queensland, we decided to stay at the bailey bar, as we have stayed there before and we were meeting friends the next day, I booked in and paid for two nights. The problem was it started raining on our way there, 14th September, when all the flooding happened in Queensland and NSW. Our friends in Longreach were...

Awesome service have stayed many times over the last few years, cannot fault them, mows grass before setting up of camper trailer, cabins are well priced, clean and neat, great camp kitchen with all you need in it, nothing is a worry for them.

We intended to stay 2 nights however we liked it so much we stayed for 4 nights. The manager and staff are really friendly and hospitable. Our powered site was across from the racetrack which we were told we could ride our bikes over there (which we did) and it's also a popular spot for evening walkers. The site had...

Travelled with our beloved 14 year old staffy from Cairns FNQ to Lower SA and this was an oasis to our sunburnt eyes. Mark greeted me with a traveller's handbook to the given areas, discount coupons and a great big smile. Such a welcoming place to pull up at after 10 hours driving. Even if it was 2 hours, I...

Had a good stay here after some disappointment further south. Very clean good laundry nice town nice people. Unfortunately the camp oven dinner and yabbie races weren't on the night we stayed but the menu looked fabulous, beef in red wine sauce mashed spud apple pudding with custard! Sounds fantastic after cooking on the road side a few nights. Highly...

We went to this caravan park so that we could meet friends and we had been there before. On the way there it started raining and being where it is, with the surrounding land all being quite flat and the real possibility of getting stuck there, we decided to leave a day earlier than we had booked for, that was...

This is a lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff, and money raised from the camp-fire dinners goes to help our farmers in need. Great effort people. I would stay with you again and again. Thank you!!!!

This park is popular among many travellers but is not cheap. The roast at night time is overpriced at $24 pp inc sweets and tea. I suggest a discount for your site if you take the meal deal, as not all campers take up the offer. The spiel by the owners while having your meal is a bit to much.
