Stayed here for three nights mid January 2021. What a magnificent place beautiful grassy sites the grounds are excellently maintained. Hospitality of the park owners Rich and Helen was amazing couldnt get a better run park. Best part of our trip will definitely stay again.
Great caravan park to base yourself out from to tour the region. Make sure you allow time to stay in Barcaldine, and not rush through to Longreach. Grassed area, clean amenities, and good camp kitchen. Entertainment was provided each afternoon by 2 fellow campers - bush poetry and ballads. They are regular visitors to the camp, and have everyone out for happy hour. Check out all the attractions both in town, and on drives out of town. Aramac was certainly worth the visit to the town, and the sculpture trail. A real gem! Then there is the adventure of getting out to Barcy - Alpha and Jericho have more to offer if you slow down and look around town.
I loved this green, lush, well kept caravan park. There are lots of trees, fantastic, clean facilities, a great camp kitchen, entertainment each afternoon and meals several times a week. I extended my stay and will definitely be back.
Good sized sites, easy to access. The gardens and lawned areas are well kept. Amenities well designed and kept very clean. Good camp kitchen. There is an old style guitar player and singer with tea and damper provided and a roast dinner offered at a reasonable price. We were very happy with our 2 night stay and will come back. The town is also very clean with lovely street gardens and displays
