Great hosts, lodge includes kitchen and living room with WiFi. Great location to go to different spots to check out wildlife (itself being one of them). Wanted to do laundry, and the hosts were kind enough to do ours for us. Only problem was the bathroom, our gutter had a weird smell, but the hosts did try to fix the... More

We recently attended a small wedding that took over the whole complex for a few days. The rooms are comfortable. The staff very helpful. The location is beautiful. Lots of birds and unusual animals. The deck was used for both the ceremony and dinner and dancing.

Beautiful location. Excellent location for viewing wildlife and great potential to be a star in the rainforest. Wildlife viewing platform well lit, lots of wildlife to view, cameras that connect to rooms so that wildlife can be seen apparently not operational. Upper platform also beautiful but no seating at all. No place to sit and share the adventures of the... More

We only stayed on night at the Lodge but we will be back for sure. Its tucked away from everyone else in beautiful rainforest. Our two kids loved seeing the nocturnal animals and going on the rainforest walks. The rooms were simple and clean and perfect for our needs.

Oh Gosh. What a gorgeous area! Wildlife galore & with one of the Lakes right on your doorstep. Lake Eacham. The rooms were quite a surprise, clean, comfortable & very spacious. We stayed in one closest to the Car Park, but others are located right in the Rain Forest. Others told they had many visitors on their Balcony in the... More

Very nicely located in the middle of the rainforest and a true paradise for lovers of fauna and flora. The cottages are very spacy, nice and nothing lacked, but my hands were itching to give them a better clean. It is understood that keeping those clean in the midst of a forest may be a challenge, but with a little... More

We stayed two nights in a clean and comfortable room, right in the rainforest. The trip down the driveway was an adventure to where? We felt that Harry Butler, or the very least Russell Coight, would jump out from behind a tree! Secluded, we were able to view a sugar glider on the second night. No phone service but they... More

We had family from Interstate coming to visit and we wanted to show off as much of the gorgeous scenery that we could so a trip to Lake Eacham was definitely on the to do list. Being a group of 3 Adults and 2 teenagers we thought that finding accomodation (outside of a caravan/ villa park) would be hard. It... More

This was our second stay at Chambers. We pre-book Room 1 as it has an elevated balcony to which birds will visit if you place cut fruit onto the balustrade. Lewin's Honeyeater, Spotted Catbird and Victoria's Riflebird will visit but you need to keep the Brush Turkeys at bay or they will clean you out of fruit in no time.... More

The lodges are located in Rainforest near Lake Eacham about 10 minutes drive from Malanda (North Queensland). The cabins are comfortable and clean, could do with some minor maintenance. Our sliding door to enter the cabin was very hard to slide. However, the cabins are set in beautiful rain forest setting and any minor maintenance issues are soon forgotten. This... More
