Is a nice place to go for a weekend , has great potential just lacked attention to detail , such as no bath Matt , broken light (wire showing out of wall ) dirty light . Also should be told prior to booking that you have to clean the cottage when leaving , that was disappointing ,

We were given a weekend away to Tarilta Spa Cottage as an anniversary gift from my son and his girlfriend. The cottage's location overlooking the forest is great (very peaceful - managed to see a Roo hopping passed the bathroom window while showering). Tarilta really has everything you need (kitchenette well equipped) and is very clean and cozy (loved the... More

On a late reservation we were allocated Tarilta Spa Cottage. Tarilta offered a peaceful, comfortable space in the forest. The cottage has open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and spacious bedroom with modern, light, airy ensuite featuring a large spa bath. The ensuite provided a lovely view into the forest through a large sliding window. This window however was not screened... More

I booked this cottage after reading many positive reviews and the photos looking lovely. Well let me say, the actual cottage we stayed in was beautiful and looked just like the photos. And that's where the positive review stops. There is no free wifi as stated on many booking websites. The spa, which was one of the reasons we booked... More

We just came back from a long weekend stay at Tangenong Cottages. We stayed in the Locarno cottage. The cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable stay including a fireplace and a jet spa in the bathroom. There is a reverse cycle air/heather also if you can't be bothered starting a fire. We cooked here and most things we... More

We stayed in Aurora which is just perfect for a couple. You feel like you're in the treetops because the feature window looks directly into the forest way above Hepburn Springs. Aurora has its own driveway and carport, but be very careful driving in and out because the entrance is near a bend. Outside is a verandah with a table... More

Nice little cottage, good views of forest, basic kitchen, good furthiture although nothing to really lounge about on - 2-seater couch isn't really big enough - otherwise well furnishyed. Brilliant log fire, good bathroom with spa. Clean and modern. Could do with new mugs, there were four and two were chipped. It's a long walk to anywhere so car is needed... More

We stayed 2 nights in Aurora cottage while attending the Longest Lunch in the Hepburn Springs Reserve. For our needs it was close to ideal, inexpensive, quiet and secluded. Aurora is the smallest (and cheapest) of the 3 cottages on the block. They are located quite close together and while we were not disturbed on our visit, if you were... More

Great new bathroom with large corner spa and overhead shower very modern looking with an amazing view. Warm log heater with plenty of wood available. Functional kitchen with dining table for 4. Only 2 mins from the Bathhouse... More

We recently stayed at the Tarilta cottage. We enjoyed ourselves, liked how it was secluded and a private outlook over the bush. We found the bed to not be very comfortable at all. Didn't like that the wire door had a provision cut out of it to enable easy opening/closing but also meant all sorts of flying insects could get... More
