Sue is a wonderful host, so lovely to talk to and the antique decor in this place is just beautiful, so interesting to look at! Amazing view on the veranda too. Perfect place to wonder around the best parts of Daylseford from. Loved my stay here, thanks sue!

We booked the honeymoon room for a one night's stay for its size. I was shocked on walking through the door to see the "antique" decor and the amount of nicknacks on display. Olde worlde things were everywhere. As it turned out, we were the only people there that night, which suited us just fine. There was a communal kitchen and dining room and it would better suit families or friends travelling together. The owners do not live on the premises. My biggest disappointment was that the large spa bath only had a hand held shower (not attached to any wall), so in order to have a shower, you had to sit in the bath and try not to get water everywhere which was impossible. There were so many "things" in the bathroom, you hardly had anywhere to hang a towel. Shampoo was also not provided as is the case in the most basic on places these days. At least it had central heating and was walking distance to the town.

What a magical place, step back in time to enjoy all the romance of a bygone era.my family & I all had our own bedroom with queen beds not a bunk insight, full kitchen, with almost everything you could ask for just not salt & pepper. The veranda upstairs was the perfect place to sit back & enjoy a glass of champagne.

We were welcomed by Sue who owns the Town View. She told us of the history of the building. The furnishing and decoration is contemporaneous with the building - so lots of Victoriana. Accommodation is suited to large groups with communal lounge, bathroom (great shower!) and kitchen. We had the place to ourselves. The location is very close to the main strip in Daylesford and I would highly recommend a meal at The Perfect Drop directly across the road.
