Positives: Room are large and comfortable. Hotel is in a great location. Negatives: Bathroom wasn't cleaned well and it had pink gunk spilled down front of vanity on arrival. On day 2 fresh towels given but room was not serviced. Balcony area is old a tired and needs work. Walls between rooms are thin and on night one we were...

I recently stayed in your lovely hotel with my husband, for two nights. We had a wonderful time, the room was fabulous, the spa bath was a treat, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience (especially the amazing bistro staff!). I especially loved dining on the lamb stroganoff, which was...

Close vicinity to shops, bars/restaurants and sight seeing. Loved the fact that the hotel maintained it's charm of the Victorian era... wide balconies with lattice work and stairs instead of lifts. However there was still the convenience of modern facilities. Negative was the very poor free WiFi which was non existent in the upstairs rooms.

I would definitely recommend a...

Visited the Royal Hotel for lunch on a Wednesday during school holidays. Not crowded, helpful and friendly staff and really tasty meals. We will definitely return to this venue. Good range of meals available. Only drawback was the Keno tvs around the walls. Distracting.

We at at the Royal on our recent trip to Daylesford. The ambience was wonderful, the food of a good standard and the service exceptional. Also at a very reasonable price. The wine list was also quite extensive with a range of locally-sourced wines.

We stayed at the Royal Hotel in Daylesford on the last Friday night in December. The hotel is at one end of the main street. We had an "Executive Suite". The rooms are on the first floor and all open onto the large, deep balcony which wraps around two sides of the hotel on the street frontages. The suite consisted...

We arrived without a booking on the 22 Dec as a group of 8 at 6.00 pm for dinner. Staff were very helpful and let us know they had a big group booked in. We ordered and our meals arrived in no-time as the big group arrived. Meals were good size, chicken parmigiana with BBQ sauce was perfectly cooked with...
