We had a great break before spring carnival in Melbourne by staying at the best B&B we have ever stayed at . Holyrood house has just had a total renovation and has been done to highest standard. The owners and operators Keith and Andrew have managed to keep the old world charm of a Victorian/Federation country mansion while installing all the...

We had the opportunity to stay here at Holyrood House, and what a pleasure it was, we could not fault it the time we were there, The hosts were very knowledgeable of the local history and have kept the luxury of its time to the house, so to Andrew and Keith, we thank you for our perfect week-end

On hearing the new owners of Holyrood House had restored their 1864 Federation House we called to make a reservation. Alas they were not opening for a few weeks i.e. end April. However they would accommodate us for our Wedding Anniversary on March 31. Hosts are Andrew (professional Butler and Chef) and his partner Keith who have been renovating for...

Thank you Barbara L for your lovely review of Holyrood. It was our absolute delight to have you here as our first guests after the lengthy 2.5 year renovation of this wonderful house. After one hundred years as a guesthouse- it was time for a little more than a face lift. We will of course have WiFi added shortly as...

The house has lovely old world charm and is conveniently located in central daylesford in walking distance to everything. The hosts are most friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is a cut above the average with lovely home made jams. My only negative is it did feel a little like we were in someone else's house, which is all part...

We have just spent the most magnificent 4 nights at Holyrood House with Andrew and YongTeck. In the flurry of wedding preparations they kept us calm and came forth with scissors, did the ironing at the last minute and Yong Teck best photographer in the world took superb photos of us and our daughter and son prior to departure to...

On arrival we were greeted at the door by Andrew & Yong who proved to be very welcoming, charming & informative. Andrew was a "goldmine" of tales re the history of the area & more, we even viewed his...

The one night we stayed , Tuesday, was ideal as due to no others staying were upgraded from a room to self contained cottage! This was beautiful, great bed, spa bath, quality furnishings, nice kitchen. This upgrade was value, I would have been a bit disappointed...

We were made to feel so welcome by our gracious and interesting hosts. I was even able to invite the other members of my choir, there for the Daylesford Singers Festival, to rehearse. Andrew made us all welcome. The cake and cuppa on arrival, the nibbles and drinks before dinner and the teddies in the beds were a lovely touch....
