We recently had an enjiyable family weekend at the Station House in DAYLESFORD. The rooms are generously sized, the furnishings elegant and comfortable, the beds comfortable and the house has a friendly feel. It is well located to walk into town or the botanic gardens. Wet weather prevented us from using the large front garden. But we will be back in sunny weather to make the most of it.

I took my family away to Daylesford for a few days. I was very much looking forward to the get away. d at this. This is a beautiful home and I really could not fault the rooms, they have so much character and thought put into them regarding the art and decorations. The linen was immaculate and the beds extremely comfortable, however the heating and hot water were not working. The owner I believe would have rectified the matter asap however we only stayed 2 nights and by the time we notified them it was time to go. The grounds however need a little more love and care in order for us to utilize this space and feel comfortable and the fountain to be restored to its working glory are our recommendations. Overall we enjoyed our-stay in Daylesford and I'm sure there will be further improvements to this property .

The house didn't have enough bathrooms for 5 couples and wasn't as clean as it should have been. We also found it a little cluttered with strange decorative 'stuff' and not enough cooking pans etc. Also no fire indoors which was disappointing It was however in a great position with a nice atmosphere. Part of a group of houses, if you have a big party and happy to pay a bit more I feel the Manor House would be a better choice. It also has a fire Farmers market worth a visit

This is a nice relaxing place with pleasant rooms. It is across the road from the weekend Farmer's market which is very nice and well worth a visit. Breakfast is adequate and a good start to the day. The grounds are pretty extensive and nice to walk around.
