Booked all three houses for a family event over four days ... ! Amazingly, it really worked. One could find a couple of little faults, but excellent value for money in very pleasant surroundings. However, if you want phone or internet, don't expect much.

Our extended family rented 2 cottages at Morvern Valley. We had such a great weekend! The Alecia Cottage was perfect for my sister and her small children, with an open plan kitchen, kids play area and big balcony with BBQ overlooking the farm and animals. We also rented the Homestead, which had special touches that took us back to our... More

A wonderful experience. Within a 10 minute walk to the Bundanoon shops and easy drive to many places of interest. The guesthouse was well appointed in an old farm style with the modern touches of spa bath and TV-dvd, etc. Three bedrooms all adjoining a common area with kitchen, dining and lounge area. Well appointed for young kids - books,... More

I needed to book well ahead this time, and even then didn't quite get the actual weekend of my anniversary. But a weekend spent at Morvern made it all worthwhile. It's in its own quiet valley and once on the farm you feel it's your own country place. The hosts don't bother you, so you can do what you like... More

Best part of this holiday was the fun we had feeding the variety of animals, and the ease and freedom to approach these tame animals. The toddlers loved the freedom to run on the farm and feed the horses, Alpaca, sheep, chickens and ducks. The animals loved the apples and carrots the best. Felt great to make use of our... More

We stayed at Morvern Valley for a weekend in late July 2015. My kids were 18mths and 3.5yrs and had a great weekend running around the fields meeting and feeding the animals. In fact we had trouble getting the kids to have breakfast because as soon as they were awake they were excited to get their boots on and out... More

My husband, myself and our two girls (3.5 and 1.5) are just back from a two-night stay at Alecia Cottage, and it was a breath of fresh air - literally! We were looking for somewhere not too far from Sydney, and at just over 1.5 hours away, discovered this little gem on the internet. As soon as we got there,... More

We stayed in the Original Cottage and had the most amazing weekend as a family of 6 adults. Each cottage has a chook pen with very active layers giving you plenty of eggs for the weekend. The cottage was furnished with beautiful old furniture reminding us of our grandparents homes. All the animals are friendly and great for families with... More

We stayed in Alecia cottage for 3 nights, cottage was very nicely decorated. First day it was raining but the toys, books provided and jacuzzi tub kept my kids entertained. Feeding of animals was at our own pace. We drove down 20 min to coles to stock up on bread and carrots for the animals. Kids enjoyed themselves. It would... More

Stayed 3 nights with daughter and 2 grandchildren from the UK plus son, his wife and 2 small children. The cottage was well appointed we didn't feel cramped and there was plenty to keep the children occupied both inside and outside. Ages were from 6 to 2. They all cried as we left. The animals were the highlight. Cant wait... More
