We attended the music festival in June and had a great time at the resort. It was very relaxed and friendly. Front desk staff were very helpful in booking and it was especially nice socializing with the owners and the staff i.e.Michelle. The rooms were offered at half price. Not sure I would pay the full price along with the... More

You would only stay here if you wanted to rest for the evening, otherwise I would drive another hour to find better options. The area itself has amazing scenery. The hotel itself is what you call rustic. Everything works but you feel it could be better. Restaurant food is fine but a bit expensive. The internet does not work don't... More

First it is just a motel with a camp ground in a beautiful area, but if you take your time to get to know the place and the people, you will find out that there is more to it. It is not just a ordinary resort. Check out the little chapel and read the notes from people who had special... More

Overpriced and underserviced lot... We paid $46.00/night (required a minimum three nights stay for a long weekend). The campground charges an additional $15.00 first time reservation fee. We expected a fully serviced 15 amp RV lot for our small motorhome as we always do in our travels through the US and Canada. We arrived to a very empty campground, which... More

The nicest people, the most caring staff, breath-taking views, crystal blue lake, amazing breakfast, fantastic restaurant and clean rooms... what more could we ask for? We loved this place. Peaceful, quiet and charming. Exactly what we were looking for. The other negative reviews are by Negative Nancie's let me tell you!

I've never written a bad review before but I joined Trip Advisor just so I could write this one. We stayed in one of their campers on site -- I can't speak to the motel or cabins. What a disappointment. I don't even know where to begin. The no-cancellation policy. The dirty, rundown camper. The fact that for a camper... More

Dawn L Happy to hear you took the time to join to give us your feedback. Obviously there isn't any thing you experienced in your visit that was positive, except the overworked maintenance guy. We selected this campground for an outing with our in-laws. It worked well. A tip would be to bring your own firewood, as their little bundles are VERY expensive. A nice big slide for the children, the mini golf was great. (But my brother in law won by 4 strokes).

As a family and friends traveling campground to campground for a week and a half we had been to spots in the US and Canada.our last stop before heading home was this resort. We called ahead for reservations to make sure there was a spot available as it is a busy time of year. We were surprised to see the... More

Hello savoiefred Thanks for your feedback on our Resort. As you will find in most campgrounds you will pay an admin fee to book, just like with hotels and airports. We prefer to tell our guests exactly what they are being charged instead of hidden fees. Yes there is a charge for internet as we are located in the mountains... More

We stayed in one of the cabins at David Thompson resort for 2 days in June. Cabin was great: small bathroom and kitchen, queen size bed, hot water, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor table with benches....for a very reasonable price. Staff was very nice and friendly, starting from front desk ppl and ending with ground and housekeepers. Resort is in a... More

We stayed in the motel and other family stayed in the campground. The views around this area are spectacular! Some improvements in the room since our last visit and there was a fridge, which was very nice!
