We took advantage of a late booking offer to take the dog to the beach for the first time. The room was a good size, containing a very comfortable double bed, desk and recessed wardrobe. Everything was clean and tidy. I thought it all looked smart although my (eagle-eyed) wife said that the desk was starting to show some signs...

We had Sunday lunch at The Orange Tree today and it was excellent, very nicely presented, very friendly staff and a comprehensive gin menu, what more could you want!! Two of us had the Sunday roast, one had the curry and one had the cannon of lamb and we all enjoyed them, the deserts and starters were a nice change...

We have eaten at the Orange Tree a few times and always been impressed so decided to take a short break there for my birthday and it exceeded expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, we stayed in the The Old Bakery and the room was lovely, peaceful and comfortable, especially the bed. The dinner was as delicious as...

We stayed here at the end of a walking weekend along the Norfolk Coastal path and it was pretty much the perfect ending! A gorgeous pub, in a beautiful village set opposite a church and a stone's throw away from the sea. The accommodation was very comfortable, being in an outbuilding at the back of the pub/ restaurant. It was...

Decided to book a night away, so glad we chose The Orange Tree, we were warmly welcomed by the staff on duty (bat and reception) we were booked into the Old Bakery, Cob room. Lovely comfy bed, fluffy white towels plenty of extras; tea, coffee, shampoos and shower gels etc. We did have a couple of minor issues, which we...

We stayed in a courtyard room with our small dog and found it to be very small. In fact it was so small we felt claustrophobic and didn't sleep well at all. The decor was very tired and needs a complete re decoration. It was a shame because the food was so good and the staff were very friendly. We...

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night - next time we'll make sure we stay for longer! Our room (in the Old Granary annexe) was excellent - a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, but a little over-fussy - spinach with a poached egg? The highlight, though, was the evening meal, which was outstanding, and the restaurant staff...
