Lovely place to stay with mum. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the ground floor so mum didn't have to worry about the stairs and we had room for her to stay in the room and read the paper if she wanted to do this. We had dinner every night in the Hoste which suited us but the front...

My friend and I had rooms at the Railway Inn part of The Hoste, lovely rooms approx. 5-10 mins from The Hoste, where we walked to have a fantastic buffet breakfast every morning. We had two dog friendly rooms, 46 & 46. The hotel had a lovely lounge area and garden. Very nice rooms with tea / coffee etc and...

I recently surprised my boyfriend with a one night stay in North Norfolk at The Hoste for his birthday. We really did have the best holiday ever and The Hoste was the highlight of our weekend. We arrived late on the Sunday evening due to work commitments but we were made to feel so welcome as soon as we walked...

Stayed in the Railway Rooms just a short distance from the hotel. Lovely room and lounge area. Although not in the hotel itself the rooms are styled in the same way and the short walk to breakfast in the morning gave us the chance to stretch our legs. Was surprised at how many dogs there were in the hotel but...

Such incredibility poor customer service from the start to the very bitter end. Our lunch was booked as part of a Spa Day for two. We had been given an allocated time, and also booked our meal two hours in advance of the allotted time. When we arrived at the restaurant it was clear they were not expecting us, despite...

This is our third stay at the Hoste and it's been a delight on each occasion. The rooms are comfortable, food is excellent and the staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a very relaxing place where every effort is made to maintain high standards. Well done Hoste.

Living in Norfolk for many years and having got to know many fabulous restaurants, the Hoste has always been one of my favourites. However, I can no longer say I would chose it as somewhere to go for great food and service. It has some how lost its way. My family went for lunch today and felt disappointed with the...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for posting the feedback from your latest visit to the Hoste, its disappointing to read that after years of us being one of your favourite places to eat your opinion has changed. Please accept my sincere apologies if you found the serviced to be slow and the food average. James our head chef takes...

Booked a room here at short notice as we were visiting the Norfolk coast and wanted to make a weekend out of it. The Hoste stood out as a good choice for couples and I wanted somewhere with a nice restaurant as well and the Hoste did not disappoint. I didn't read the reviews before booking but having read some...

Over the years we have spent a small fortune at The Hoste. It has been a retreat from business, a gift to friends, an excuse to drive new cars and blow out birthday candles. We got to know senior staff, they learned about us. If it was Norfolk it had to be The Hoste - and we were welcomed at...
