I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding. Our hosts Chris and Denise were warm and friendly and took care of our every need. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and spent the morning getting ready for the church. A special place with special memories! Ceri Vaughan ne Restrick.

My wife and I stayed at No 37 for 3 nights while we were visiting family just across the road (her brother's 70th birthday) On arrival day we very very late thanks to almost total motorway gridlock from Southampton to Derby, Normally a three and a half hour journey stretched into over eight. We kept in touch via text messages... More

This B&B is just off the main village square. The owners were very welcoming and stored our bikes in a secure shed overnight. Chris, the owner is a cycling enthusiast. Our room was comfortable with a double and single bed. It appears 2 bedrooms are not ensuite with 2 bathrooms across the landing. Breakfast was a variety of cooked options... More

It's always difficult to be critical about people you genuinely like and don't want to upset, but after giving it some thought I decided I must be honest about my experience or not bother writing a review at all.. Firstly the good points and they are very good - Chris and Denise are warm, caring and friendly hosts who can't... More

Rooms came with tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk and homemade chocolates and cake. Chris was a great host and was very informative about the local area and further afield. My husband and I... More

A very comfortable room, unfortunately not ensuite, but with an impeccably clean bathroom right next door (robe provided). Top quality breakfast and charming and informative hosts. Very fair price in relation to facilities.

We came for just one night from Nottingham and were bowled over by Chris and Denise's hospitality. Such a lovely community and great place to stay. The local cinema, Northern Lights, and local pub, the Royal Oak, are a must. Perfect location to embrace the beauty of the Peak District, made a unique experience by staying at Number 37. Can't... This is a great place to stay, Denise and Chris went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was lovely, the attention to detail in the rooms is high - cold milk in a thermos for your tea tray, handmade chocolates. The kids loved it too. Would highly recommend it.

Chris & Denise could not be more welcoming and gracious. Wirksworth will be my home soon thanks in no small part to my stays at #37. Great food from Denise and Chris is the what every tour guide should be. Thanks, John Q.
