The old shoulder of mutton must be one of the best B&B's we've stayed at. We were warmly greeted by Steven and Julie who served us tea and homemade scones with jam & cream in their lovely garden. Our room was very nicely decorated and overlooked the garden. It had cupboard space, tea & coffee making facilities, a television, wifi,...

We had a great time staying here. Steve and Julie the owners are really welcoming and made the stay just perfect. It's a must that you ask for BOTH off road routes for a fun few hours of driving!! Great accommodation, very well maintained and very modern. Thanks Ian and Emma

My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of October to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed with tea and home-made cake by Steve and Julie, and things just went on getting better! Our room - the Garden Room - is beautifully appointed and very quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious - especially the black...

We stayed for 2 nights in September 2015 and will definitely be returning. Julie and Stephen are wonderful hosts and have created a beautiful place to stay in a wonderful location. We stayed in the room overlooking the secluded and pretty garden. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is also a cosy residents' lounge where you can share...

We returned to the Old Shoulder of Mutton recently for another relaxing stay. Steven and Julie are excellent hosts and this time we added to our trip the option of a ride out in Steven's Model A vintage Ford. What a great way to see the countryside in a magnificent car. As Arnold said....'We will return'!
