Came back today from a 2 night stay. Our 3rd visit this year. The apartment type accommodation is being refurbished but this did not affect our lovely stay. From the outset another warm welcome. The food could not be faulted. All the people that I seems really enjoyed there very well portioned meals. A new member of staff behind the...

We arrived after a long day at work to this lovely Inn and was greeted by a very welcoming lady at Reception. We were then kindly escorted to our room, which was a self contained cabin (completely surprised as we were just expecting a normal room but this was amazing!) Our room was spacious, clean, had a double bed, bunk...

Rooms are not in the Inn. The accommodation reminded me of a holiday camp or US motel. That said, our room for two nights was warm, clean and comfortable. Our neighbours disturbed us the first night with bangs and bumps and barking dog. Really peaceful when they left. Better lighting needed between the inn and the chalets when walking over...

Our rooms are all in the grounds, pleased you found the rooms clean and comfortable I am sorry we have no control over people staying in the other rooms. As to lighting we are at present upgrading the lighting. I have taken your comments up with the breakfast chef As we are a family run hotel, there is quite oftern...

Warm welcoming pub with some rooms 50 yds away. While well equipped and warm it is a bit of a trek from nice pub to rooms. The dinner menu is more extensive than most and quite innovative. We all enjoyed something different and the mains were proper dishes not requiring extras which unfortunately is getting less common. Excellent range of...

Just returned from a one night stay, combining it with a visit to Chatsworth. With friends, our package included bed, continental breakfast, 3 course evening meal and half an hour in the hot tub, booked through Wowcher it was excellent value. We arrived on one of the wettest days of the year, so we enjoyed the open fire. Our accommodation...

Had a fantastic time at the dog and partridge inn. Me and my girlfriend Lisa stopped here for 2days and nights. The room was not above the inn as expected but was a room on the side of the inn. There were quite a few rooms like this but there not on top of each other which was nice. The...

We've just come home after a lovely weekend staying here. Every member of staff couldn't of been more attentive for the whole of our stay & nothing was too much trouble. Chalet rooms were spacious and warm with a lovely ensuite bathroom, added bonus you could park your car right outside your room. The restaurant menu had huge variety and...

We arrived at night the room looked clean and decent. Bar small but cosy however a bottle of red wine is £18 and I can assure you the price does not match the quality! Meal was severely over priced at approx £35 per head again not the quality you would associate with those prices. Service a little shoddy waitress didn't...
