We stayed her for 5 days. It's a modern hostel all rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Out side there is so much space for the children to play in. The food was amazing every night a different option and the breakfast was top notch. I have stayed in lots of hostels with the children and this is by far the best one to date. 100% recomend you to stay here

Ideally located for family adventures in Conkers, exploring along the multitude of forest walks or cycling along the Heritage Trail that is adjacent to the property. The hostel had a friendly environment that made self-catering a pleasant, rather than stressful experience. Despite initially finding that a cot had not been placed in the room; the staff were very helpful in finding a resolution. While storage for accommodating the things that a family need to bring is minimal; the wider facilities are much better than we had initially envisaged before arrival. For those who spend more time outdoors than in; the YHA National Forest is an ideal base - and offers a welcoming retreat to rest after adventures in this lovely part of the country.

This hostel, on first appearance, was so positive that I just knew it would be good. The girl on the counter when I arrived was so helpful in explaining how the hostel worked, that there were meals you could purchase and gave me some maps. The room was clean and the en suite was a very nice surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to my friends.

Just go back from a brilliant stay. The new tents are great! Beautifully kitted out as we have come to expect from various Yha stays. These tents have darker material than other YHA bell tents we’ve stayed in before which means it’s darker in the morning which is great with younger children 👍 zzzz 😄 Food was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and functional. Thanks again!
