We have just spent a weekend at the Blenheim House. We were "recommended" it because it is dog friendly, and we were in the area with our dog to potentially adopt another from a local dog rescue charity. Our contact at the rescue had given us the recommendation, purely based on having heard that it was a good place to...

Been a few times and I am always impressed by the food. Well presented, and so tasty. I go for special occasions as it is too expensive for me, for a weekly meal but definitely pay for what you get and always happy to do so. Great quality. Only thing that I find lets the place down is the young...

I ate here with friends at lunchtime, the atmosphere is very relaxed and we were able to sit and chat and were not rushed to order food. I am following a diet at the moment so did find it difficult to find something I could eat but settled on gammon and replaced the chips for a salad which was not...

We stayed here for two nights to attend a family function, Our daughter booked the room for us knowing we love historic buildings. Despite booking a king room for us we were given a room downstairs which was tiny and the bed was definitely a double. The bathroom was so small it was hard to shower (absolutely no where to...

I have visited this restaurant several times now and have always had very good food. On the latest occasion I had the best steak I have ever eaten. Only criticism was the speed that the food was being delivered - so we asked for more time and a bigger delay between courses. Fantastic food though. 10 out of 10. We...

I stayed here for 1 night. I must say, it's a quaint little place. I liked Derbyshire anyway, but I like it even more now! Very pleasant accommodation, extremely comfortable bed and most welcome conversation from the staff and landlady. I will remember this lovely place and bring my wife for a couple of nights stay. I would definitely recommend...

Thank you so much for all of your help in making our friend's wedding so special. I'm sorry we were not able to thank you in person before we left. We really appreciate how the room was prepared, leaving us very little to do on arrival. Everyone enjoyed themselves and all praised the venue and the food. Your team are...

We frequent this restaurant about 2-3 times a year, usually on a special occasion. Sometimes we stay over. We have never had a bad meal until last Monday when we went for my husbands birthday. Unfortunately the chef had just left their employment and a temporary chef was in place. The menu was very limited and had we have known...

I stayed in the Blenheim whilst on a business trip recently. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the location is great with lots of character. All of the food (dinner and breakfast) was made with fresh ingredients and was very enjoyable. It was an incredibly warm day but even without air conditioning the room was at an acceptable temperature....
