The pub and garden are a delight in the rural setting. Eat surrounded by fields and flowers. We had a lovely lunch here today. The only reason i didnt give a five stars was the country music being played into the garden. It spoilt the idyllic setting!!

We had our Wedding Reception here. The food was of a high standard and the staff were incredibly helpful with the necessary preparation both before and on the big day. The profiterole mountain made by the chef has become legendary and was a lovely surprise. A year has passed and our family and friends still comment on how delicious the... More

Went for a meal on Saturday the 26th of September starters and mains all good prompt and efficient service and a nice ambiance. I had jack sprats for the starter, others had soup, one had crab. Mains included sirloin steak, fillet steak, and duck breast. Everyone was more than happy with their choice. On a previous visit midweek, there is a... More

Lovely garden area for a pre Lunch/dinner drinks, with peace and quiet. Good menu with plenty of choice, great fresh food and excellent service. The wine was also very good, good size car park, highly recommend it here.

Food orders quickly taken, the food was cooked and presented well ,Plenty of fresh vegetables cooked just with a little crunch. The final bill was very good taking into consideration what we all had . I also thought the staff... More

Visited for the first time in some 25 years but went on a recommendation. Greeting friendly although did have to ask to be shown to our table. Dining area very pleasant indeed with proper napkins and lit candles and fresh flowers on table. The evening menu was somewhat disappointing as there was nothing that really grabbed any of us. Very... More

We recently dined at the Bluebell and while the waitress service was excellent the charge of full price for a small child's meal was ridiculous. During the later stages of the meal we were asked to move as others wanted the table. This had not been mentioned when booking or on our arrival. This ended our evening abruptly which was a... More

Went for an evening weekend meal, expecting to be impressed, having heard and read good things about eating at The Bluebell. First impressions of the building itself are not great. Gardens, paintwork etc are in need of some TLC. This is disappointing given the pricing for food and drink. The choice and quality of food is pretty good but be... More
