We had a wonderful stay at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn, Bamford. A very warm welcome from Ann who showed us to our room which was lovely, tea, coffee etc and with home made biscuits. The location is superb, a short walk to Lady Bower Reservoir which leads on to other trails. A bus stop opposite that will take you into... More

We booked a lunch for seven people to celebrate my birthday.Me and my husband had enjoyed several family meals there in the past.Although we payed seperately for our meals we did ask if they could be served all together and provided the table number. This did not happen and two of my friends had almost finished their meal.before the rest arrived.My... My fiancé and I go quite regularly on a Sunday for lunch. The food is always good and the waiting staff are always pleasant and efficient. I only have one complaint, and it occurs every time we go. The pervert serving behind the bar cannot keep his eyes off my mrs' cleavage!!!! He really needs to be told as it... More

Just had Sunday lunch here. The food was distinctive in that it was the least distinctive meal I've ever eaten. We had the roast beef and whilst nothing was actively bad it was very bland and unmemorable. It was like institutional food the type that you might expect in a hospital. I won't be hurrying back - there are so... More

A super one night mid week stay - ideal location close to the reservoir. Stayed in room 5 which had a wonderful king size bed and bath and shower. Loved the homemade cookies and tea/coffee making facilities. Tasty food and filling breakfast. We would definitely stop here again.

We spent two nights here this week and have absolutely no complaints. We stayed in room 7, it was very clean, comfy bed, good bathroom with interesting plumbing noises at times!! Fluffy towels, drink making facilities with fresh milk from the bar available. £75/night it was good value for money with a huge breakfast included. Staff were friendly and very... More

It's the 4th time we have been back to the Bridge Inn..we went this weekend as it's my my wife took me away for my birthday and we cycle a lot once there, Monsal, Tissington and North Peak trails. We also cycle round the Lady Bower Reservoir as it's steeped in history from the Dam Busters. The Inn is a... More

Had a lovely two night stay here this weekend. Would definitely recommend it even though it's a short drive to Castleton. Just a few minutes stroll away from Ladybower. We were looked after really well, and all of the staff were happy to help with any extra requests! A special thank you to Anne. Delicious homemade biscuits in the room... More

I booked The Yorkshire Bridge for a long weekend as a surprise for my husband on our anniversary. We stayed in room 3 with the four poster bed as this was the only room left (what a shame!), a decent sized room, comfortable king size bed with en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities where milk can be collected in a flask from... More

Stopped in last night after work with friends we all went for the burger which was excellent came out quite quick as well. Nice surrounding good pub grub definitely worth popping in. It did get busy though and it was only a Thursday so maybe worth booking. There's seating outside if it's a nice day as well.
