This pub never fails to deliver. Delicious food, a warm welcome, muddy feet and dogs encouraged. Well worth a visit should you be in the area. You will not be disappointed. Booking is sometimes required especially at weekends so phoning ahead can be advantageous.
A group of us stayed for 2 nights and we were looked after really well. Food portions were generous and the choice at breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The inn is clearly very popular with locals and visitors.
