Beautiful house and accommodation. Rooms immaculate and decorated to a really high spec. Very nice hosts, and a delicious breakfast. A bit in the middle of nowhere so a car is a must to get you to the nearest pub for dinner.

What a lovely place, cosy and comfortable room. immaculately clean and well presented. A good place to explore the lakes. The breakfast was the best ever, quality produce. If you could find fault it would be that their were only one cup of coffee each which needed to last over two days. Also one little shower gel to last both... More

We stayed in Fiddleback Farm for one night while visiting friends nearby, we were treated like family, asked what time we'd like breakfast and we give a very complicated order which was meet with no problem, and cooked to perfection! Loved that we had a little sitting area which gave the children time to settle while we relaxed! Lovely setting... More

Stayed at Fiddleback Farm on the way to Glasgow on Friday night and had a really relaxing evening. The guest room was amazing - beautiful beamed ceiling mixed with exposed brick and really tasteful décor. Not to mention perhaps the most comfortable bed I have stayed in ANYWHERE! The charm of the owners makes you completely relaxed as if you... More

We booked Fiddleback farm off the internet, as we were looking for somewhere close to Dalston Hall where we were attending a wedding evening do. Having passed the place countless times wondering what a 'round' house would be like inside, we can say, stunning! Ian and Lorraine, the owners, are a wonderful couple, who made us extremely welcome from the... More

Fantastic overnight stay. Lovely farmhouse bespoke accommodation. Very clean. Great welcome from our hosts. Room spacious and beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast choice. We went for scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Trying to be healthy! Loads of cereals fresh fruit and much more to choose from. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Our stay was a one-night stop off en route to Scotland. Stayed in the family room (which I believe is the profile picture - the girls slept on the sofa bed). Hosts couldn't have been any more accommodating - they even booked us into a local pub for dinner that evening, before we arrived. The farmhouse is absolutely stunning and... More

The best B & B we've stayed in by far. Spacious room, extremely clean, comfortable beds and a superb cooked breakfast (as well as all sorts of other delights on offer). Home is just gorgeous, wish we had have stayed longer! Fantastic meal at The Royal Oak just down the road.
