I have been staying at the croft hill guesthouse on pretty much a weekly basis for the last 4 years or so. I struggled to find a homely, welcoming and accomodating hotel or b'n'b in the whitehaven area for a year so beforehand until I found the guesthouse. The rooms are very nice, have all the amenities needed and are...

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room, which had a view over the garden and towards the sea. It ws very clean and airy, with a comfortable king bed. The breakfast was cooked to order, with a good choice of cereals to start with, and toast to finish....

My husband, sister in law and I stayed here recently. The property is lovely and even though work was being done to the outside of the property it did not affect us. The breakfast was great and kept us going all day and on the Saturday morning when we had to leave very early the hosts kindly left cereals, milk,...

Joanne made us very welcome suggesting restaurants and a lovely route down into Whitehaven on our bikes. Our room was immaculate, with an excellent...

We stayed here just one night and were made to feel very welcome. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We had the attic room which is slightly away from the rest of the rooms,so we felt we had our own area, which was nice. The shower was good, hot water and easy to use. Tea, coffee etc in the...
