Booked this B&B for a couple of nights and was pleased with everything. Great views from the room which was a good size and very clean, and a very good breakfast in the morning provided by the friendly and helpful owner Sue. Will definitely be returning.

Approach to guesthouse not impressive, as it is through industrial area, but surprise at end of row is worth it. Awesome view of the sound with anchored boat for ambiance and lovely walking area. Walk back up one lane road to the canal crossing and watch a flock of swans (or whatever a group of swans is called) gliding majestically... More

Friendly clean and fabulous setting for a tranquil bed and breakfast establishment. Rooms are fresh and airy although the room I had wasn't en-suite there wasn't anyone in the other bedroom that doesn't have en-suite so it was fine. There is another double that is en-suite. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed in a beautiful spacious double room and enjoyed a perfect breakfast delivered and served in a generous and kind manner. The views are wonderful and there is a family friendly approach to the place. A perfect Bed and breakfast experience from customer oriented people.

I stayed at Sea Wood B&B for one night at the beginning of July as part of a business trip in the Cumbria area. Arriving around 7pm, exhausted, I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Sue, the B&B owner. I was given a tour of the B&B and shown the breathtaking views. The B&B was spotless and a... We booked this B&B en route to Scotland, and we can truly say that it is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. Sue is a lovely host, the accommodation is superb, the breakfasts are all that you could ask for, and the view from the windows over the bay is one to die for. We could have... More

I needed a base for a long weekend in the Lake District with one of my oldest friends for a girly trip, so I booked a double room for us at the Sea Wood Bed and Breakfast purely based on reviews. On arrival, I was so pleasantly surprised by the location - it was absolutely stunning. I tried to capture... More

Firstly, what a wonderful warm welcome! Sue was an absolute gem and I felt at home within minutes. Lovely room spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with a lovely view over the water. Stayed here while attending weekend event at Manjushri Buddhist Centre. Have recommended to others and will definitely return when back in Ulverston. Fab!
