We booked for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and have a UK break with our dog. We have stayed in dog friendly places previously and didn't expect The Ritz but what we were provided was disgusting. We arrived late after nearly a 5 hour drive & received keys. The caravan looked tidy enough so we decided to drop... More

Been here several times now. Perfect location by the sea and near to local towns and sites. Buses and trains very convenient also .Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place to chill and relax. Perfect getaway. More new caravans now for that luxurious touch.

We visit Seacote at least twice a year and have stayed in our touring caravan and in the sites own static caravans. Site facilities are limited and a bit elderly if you’re touring but it’s all about the location at Seacote, St. Bees is a wonderful village on the Cumbrian coast and it’s just a few miles away from Whitehaven... We booked a last minute holiday to the lakes and St Bees was a lovely location. We stayed in a sandpiper caravan on the beachcomber site near the hotel. The caravan was clean and modern with plenty room. The kids enjoyed the beach and the playground. Only downside, (if you have a teenager) was no WiFi apart from the hotel... More

We have stayed at Seacote campsite both in tents and more recently in a campervan,While the pitch was level with a good sea view the overall impression was that the site was neglected.Toilets were dirty and there was no evidence of them having been cleaned in the four days we stayed there. One of the two gents toilets had no paper... The park has passed it's sell by date . We stayed for two nights , the pitch was good with sea views . The park was tired, a lot of the static vans were old and in poor condition . The toilet block needed a very good clean , I am afraid its down to the people who stay there... More

St Bees bay is an attractive beach with sand and rock pools and a coastal walk. Unfortunately the beach and sea was full of poisonous jellyfish which was a disappointment to the kids. The village is pretty with several nice pubs. The location of the caravan park is great for the beach and the West Lake District. However it's located... More
