We had a wonderful 3 night stay in August. Very cosy room with all the comforts of home. We were made to feel very welcome including our dog. home made food was to die for, all freshly cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble. The location is beautiful with rolling countryside as far as the eye can see. The homemade rock cakes were a wonderful extra touch during our stay. Highly reccomend. Tips for other travellers 9 standards Rigg for the adventurous walker/hiker. Aysgarth, cotter force & Hardraw waterfalls all worth a visit. half day closing in Dent on a Wednesday. (not sure if this applies elsewhere) Black Bull at Nateby good pub food. Linda and Graham will make you feel so welcome, offering the best food, check the restaurant is cooking on the nights of your stay and book elsewhere if not. Breakfast is made exactly to your liking and nothing was any trouble at all. We really enjoyed the cosy feel and was especially nice at breakfast, sharing tips with each other ( and other guests) as to where to go during our stay. Whether you are Vegan or not, you will definitely enjoy your stay. Thank you very much Linda and Graham you are doing an amazing job. With very best wishes, Sarah, Dominic and Ruby the dog :-)

We have just had a wonderful three night stay in the lady Anne room. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Linda and Graham and they made our break very special. From the lovely products, incredibly big, comfy bed and the Alexa in the bedroom to the most delicious home cooked vegan food including rock cakes on arrival (and more than once during our stay as they were so good). We aren’t vegan but have had our eyes opened as we did not feel we missed anything we were used to eating including the impressive choice of different types of milk! The location was perfect for us, it’s remote with breathtaking scenery and wonderful walks and sights nearby. We will recommend to our vegan and none vegan friends! Linda was kind enough to share her delicious recipes and I can’t wait to try them at home.

Just home from a wonderful stay at Goats & Oats—Linda & Graham are fabulous hosts who go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect for you. The location is lovely and a perfect base for exploring the Dales. We stayed in the Pennine Room which was very comfortable and well appointed with a lovely sitting area. The food was fabulous—we ate dinner twice during our stay, expect delicious food and hearty portions! Breakfasts were also amazing—make sure you try Linda’s homemade granola and the pancakes! She even made us lunch to take hiking and tucked in some of her delicious chocolate banana bread with our picnic. Can’t recommend this B&B enough!

2nd time we have stayed in the pennine room and it's just as good as i remember. It is spotless clean, great shower, bed, large TV that actually works including Netflix! Homemade rock cakes in the room on arrival with plenty tea/coffee. It's been red hot and thankfully lovely aircon in the room. I had the homemade granola followed by peanut butter on toast and chris had a full English all cooked really well and plenty on the plate. You don't go away hungry and let's just day we have large appetites. We ate in one of the nights and had a chilli with rice/wedge and all the extras followed by a hot blueberry crumble cake served with ice cream. Again it was delish. We are both plant based but others who stopped at the same time were not but when speaking with them at breakfast they loved it just as much as us. Basically it has everything you need and more, Linda and Graham cant do enough to make you feel welcome. Looking forward to coming again later in the year
