We stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday treat. Rooms were very clean & had everything you could need with items topped up as used daily. They were a little smaller than expected but had every facility including kettle, drinks, a couple of books & freeview TV. Situated on the front & our room overlooked the estuary, pity the... More

Lovely friendly place to stay. The staff could not be friendlier and let me drop my bags of at 10:30 in the morning before I headed out and even gave me the key to my room so that when I returned I could just head straight to my room and unpack. My room was an attic room - clean and... More

A warm welcome from our host who then took us to our room. Lovely room with everything you could need for an overnight stay. Large bathroom with heated towel rail and bath/shower. Glasses, corkscrew etc on a shelf in the corridor, guide books in the lounge and even binnoculars at the window, they really had thought of everything. Breakfast was... More

Only stayed one night, wish we stayed more. Lovely quiet location, next to a good pub. Relaxed atmosphere with great views of the bay. Stay was amazing, had the top room. Dog friendly (Murphy had a good stay too!) breakfast good, staff friendly. Looking forward to coming again!

Rosegarth was a blind choice as we had not seen the reviews but we need not have worried. The room was clean and very comfortable with a good sized en-suite. Food was great. The host informative and amusing. The view from those front windows is amazing with binoculars provided to watch the wildlife including seals ! And the icing on... More

My stay at Rosegarth was an absolute delight! The rooms were all lovely and clean. Well stocked with biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, shampoo, shower gel etc. The staff were brilliant! Made us feel so welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The breakfast was AMAZING! Lots of choice and always cooked fresh as you... More

Beautiful location with views out into the estuary. The room was spotlessly clean, bed comfy, shower powerful, quiet at night, breakfast was amazing and there's a pub next door. If you are planning to travel to this beautiful and quiet part of the Lake District, I can't recommend this B&B enough.

Look, it's not just the hearty Cumbrian breakfast that will appeal to you when you visit/stay at the Rosegarth. It is the setting by the shore - if you're lucky, like me, you may get a sea view. Comfortable, quiet, clean and with all the facilities of the Ravenglass area at your finger-tips. Not to be missed.

Our family booked into the Rose Garth B&B but when my mother-in-law ended up being a late addition (due to my father-in-law passing), we ended up having 4 of our party stay here (instead of five), and the wife and I booked into the Bay Horse B&B down the road (the Rose Garth’s proprietor - Neil - helped us out...
