We came here on the 16th July for one night only. When we arrived we were very fascinated at the old rustic style of the place. The staff greeted us very friendly and made us feel more than welcome. Aslo they told us about the area and places to go and visit which was very helpful. As we ventured upstairs... More

I am very fond of old inns in idyllic settings so I was quite excited when arriving to Gosforth Hall, unfortunately I left with rather mixed feelings. I really wanted to like our stay there, but the flaws were too many to be ignored and shrugged off. We stayed in B7 in the annexe. The room was very plain and... More

Stayed in annexe which seemed brand new and v clean. High quality finishes, very comfortable. Highly recommend for groups. Could do with a few pictures or something to make the really useful living area less echoey. Great choose between bars and restaurant for how informal or otherwise you want to go with full menu available throughout. Try the pies! But... More

Stayied up here for a 60th birthday and picked one of the new rooms in the hotel itself. Beautifully and tastefully redecorated and a shower to die for, as well as lots of space, well worth the money. Great breakfast to and its nice to see black pudding on the menu ! So still very highly recommended, not just for do's... More

I have just had my 60th Birthday party here and it was Awesome – We more or less took over the hotel with party guests occupying most of the rooms and the usual menu was replaced by Wonderful Homemade Pizzas for lunch and a Fantastic Hog Roast for dinner – I will let the photos tell the story, but Rod,... Good food. The pies are fantastic but it's a huge meal. Steaks are tender and tasty. Four of us called in for dinner and drinks. There was a choice of real ales for the guys whilst the designated driver had soft drinks. This is a friendly atmospheric place.

We booked the King-Deluxe-Ensuite with Shower. What a mistake! The walls are super thin. You can hear the neighbors talking, (and they weren't even talking loudly). Beware - The shower only has boiling water in the morning (no warm or cold). I burnt myself. The ceiling spotlight doesn't turn off, and there was a cobweb from the ceiling (which shows... More

We stayed in the annexe rooms which were very modern and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, which had a walk in shower, had plenty of space. Although not in the main building, I think this room was ideal for our requirements. The staff were all very helpful and polite and went out of their way... More

I have been working away for about a year now and have tried the big chains and the smallest of independent hotels. So i hopefully this review will help others faced with finding reliable accommodation. Location is south of the local major employment so the traffic is not to bad at peak times. Two sets of rooms, one in a... More

We stayed at Gosforth Hall Inn for 2 nights with my partner and it was really nice. The room was really comfortable. The staff was also very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a lovely village. Also, there is a restaurant in the hotel where the food is good and the staff great! The breakfast included is really... More
