The hotel offered free wifi which was great however this didn't work in our room (an adapter was in the room but not configured properly) however it worked fine in the bar.
The nearby Muncaster Castle is worth a visit and the small steam railway from Ravenscar is definitely worthwhile if the weather is reasonable.
This place should have stayed as a centre as this was jewel in crown pity it now being ripped out and others who don't have a idea were they are stay. I spent so many weekends at this place is soiled. Outward trust should look at returning to it former state
The facilities and stay are decent.. Okay for the price. The building is well preserved and gives a great feel. There are loads of activities available and amazing views all around. Staff are great too.. Location is quite far from stations so plan accordingly.
Lovely location - a big old victorian house, with great grounds - fantastic place if you're cycling round the area, walking, or planning a trip on 'Lil Ratty..... Really good value - B&B £18 - £35 pppn
